My diabetic boyfriend loves these. He doesn’t get to enjoy candy the way he used to be for diabetes. Since I have found these sugar free candies he gets to have a sweet delicious candy that doesn’t mess with his sugar.

Not as good as I expected from Russell Stover. First taste was like a cheap cherry cough drop, as you kept it in your mouth it became bitter tasting. Will never buy these again. Doubt if I'll even eat these - a shame cuz they were not cheap!!

LEMON:Despite being sugar free, these lemon candies taste very similar the original if not indistinguishable. They are addictive and I would buy them again!CINNAMON:These candies taste good (kind of like old fashioned Red Hots) when first ingested but have a distinct chemical aftertaste. I would NOT purchase these again.PRODUCT:Each candy is individually wrapped and is perfect for setting out in a candy dish or jar for sharing.PRICE:The price of the candy is expensive for what you are getting. A price point of $11 seems more appropriateADDITIONAL FACTS:(Not a nutritionist)These candies are sweetened with sugar alcohols. According to the list of ingredients, the company uses mannitol as the sugar alcohol source. Of all the sugar alcohol types, mannitol is has highest glycemic impact. This may be most concerning for those on a ketogenic diet.SUMMARY:The candy is a bit overpriced but if sugarless candy is a priority for you, you may be held captive. The cinnamon flavoring leaves a chemical aftertaste that was off-putting. The lemon flavored candy was delightful and tasty.

This candy is a very close match to the sugar full version. The lemon flavor is light and tart. The candy is easy to unwrap which isn't always the case with sugar free candy. The bag has a warning about the sweetener used to make the candy. Eaten in large quantities it can cause digestive problems in some individuals. Don't let this deter you from purchasing the product. It is a warning listed on almost all sugar free hard candy. You will be so happy if you purchase these yummy treats!
