Pixel XL Battery Case, ZeroLemon Ultra Power 8500mAh Extended Battery Case for Google Pixel XL 5.5"(NOT for Google Pixel)- Black

When installed this case does not allow Android OS to sleep. Keep awake times are very high causing battery drain when phone is not in use. Removal of the case quickly corrects this issue. The case does charge the phone as advertised but this is problem is definitely an issue. This issue occurs on a Pixel XL with the latest updates as of 6/16/2017. Typical battery drain overnight is 5% without case, with case installed battery drain can be 30% or more within a 7 hour time period. This may not be a huge issue for some but if you are trying to conserve battery life this is definitely not a good way to do it. Since the battery on the Pixel XL is not removable this case may add a considerable amount charge/discharge cycles over time which results in capacity degradation. Hopefully, support sees this and performs more in house testing or attempts to resolve this issue.

Don't know if it was just mine case was defective but first time I put my phone in this case (not set to charge) battery of my Pixel dropped from 100% to 50% from 8am to 12pm. Normally I would not get down to 50% until 6pm or later. I noticed from Accubattery that when in the case the phone never enters deep sleep (Androids Doze mode) and thus more power is being consumed. When I take the phone out of the case the phone enters deep sleep mode as expected. Unfortunately this meant the case doesn't help me as battery life plummets just by being in the case.

Ok to start I've owned previous ZeroLemon battery cases. I had one for my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and iPhone 6s. They were outstanding. So I knew what I was getting myself into. This one for the Pixel XL works the same. It does feel larger than my previous ones. It just feels enormous. But if you want to have basically an 8500mah battery pack with you just in case and don't want to carry a cord, this is fantastic. My phone battery tan like normal. Once it got down to roughly 5% battery life, I turned on my case to charge it. Once that was done, the case still showed 3 out of 4 bars left. Very impressive. I ran my phone down again and yet again charged it with the case. It now shows 2 out of 4 bars. Now I'm even more impressed. This case is the real deal. I can basically get two days out of my phone now without charging anything.Now once I deplete the battery life on my ZeroLemon case, I take the phone out and go plug in the case. Then just suck my phone in some cheap case for help in protection in the meantime. It takes a good 4-5 hours to completely charge that monster. Maybe a little less. But I can do that and if I'm just sitting around, plug in my phone for a quick charge to get by. This case will be very handy for something like going to the airport or anywhere outlets aren't handy.The reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars is that it just seems way too large. And my Galaxy note edge case was 8500mah as well but seemed smaller. That's my only complaint. But I knew going in it was gonna be large. You will want to buy a glass screen protector as well because this case does not protect your screen.The case does have a good feel to it. You have easy access to your finger print scanner. Everything works like normal on your phone with this case installed. I do recommend it if you're a heavy user like myself.

Bought the other brands on Amazon with the smaller battery, because it was slightly cheaper. 2 days after I got it, I dropped it and the front facing cracked in half, emailed customer support and no response so see if I could just buy the front facing part and it's been over a week with no response.Bought this zero lemon, bigger battery, and the case is designed and built quit a bit better than the competition. The case is a wrap around case, no snapping front facing peices, so if you drop this it will bounce with out anything cracking or snapping off. The rubber encasement is pretty sturdy with a good grip on it.Should have bought this frist like I planned on, very pleased with it.

I bought thinking nice alternative to Mophie. I was wrong. First one melted the battery connectors and the charger port to my phone. After 3 days of phone calls and emails the replaced it and I bought a replacement phone. Waited a couple months to charge the replacement. Plugged it into my factory charger and less than 2 hours later smelt smoke. Went into my home office and found another melted battery and cable. Good thing I didn't leave the house. Or install it on my new phone. Did everything in my power to protect it,. Used my power strip for my computer in a GFI outlet. Been over 10 days of emails now they are refunding my case cost. Personal opinion these should be removed from the market, they are unsafe and a fire Hazzard. I bought one for the apple 7 for a friend and his melted it's charger port on the second use.

I am on my 2nd ZeroLemon Battery case and I have followed the instructions and after the 2nd week or so of use just like my 1st one after charging it up the lights are stuck on and nothing.,.,., its really unfortunate because I like everything about it except the fact it stopped working just like the 1st one and I tried to return the 1st one and was told to find shipping paperwork and could not find it so why I bought another one shhesh I guess am a knucklehead anyway just wished this product would have worked I use my phone all day scanning and inputting info and for a couple weeks with both cases the 1st and the 2nd I was cruising right along with no battery life problems,.,. anyway,.,. I can not recommend this product nor is the customer service any help either So I guess ill try the Mophie again I was really hoping this was just a fluke with the 1st one. One more thing I really do not understand why ZeroLemon would not have just let me exchange for a new case this leads me to believe they are aware of the products short comings

This extra battery case is no joke the size and weight of a brick. It turned my regular sized cell phone into a 1980s style cordless phone. It barely fit into my pocket.

Works great and good for the next time the power goes out.
