They are the most comfortable shoe ever
My husband and I tried our first pair of ON shoes about 4 years ago. It is the coolest feeling to put these on for the first time. From that second forward we were hooked. This is probably the 12th pair we have bought since then. We both said we will be customers for life. They are the most comfortable shoe ever. When you are running it feels as like there is less pressure on your feet and feels like their logo......as if you are running ON clouds. They are also very durable and I have been able to clock more miles with ONs vs. your top brand names. They are made in Switzerland so maybe that is why. My husband and I also receive compliments about them nearly every time we wear them. They look so much different than all the other shoes out there and people are always asking what brand they are and where to find them. A few guys from my husband's rig asked to try his on and after they all ended up ordering a pair online. They are not readily available at your basic Foot Locker or Finish Line. You can find them at specialty running stores like Fleet Feet or sports expos. Or just take my word and order from Amazon. If you do not love them you can always return them. They are also cheaper on Amazon. We purchased these for about $40 less than in the store! The Cloudster is their original prototype and one of my favorites for distance running. I also like the Cloudsurfer. The Cloud is very light weight which some people prefer but the lightweight shoes have always hurt my feet running. They ave also came out with various other models since their launch that I have yet to try. But you cannot go wrong with the Cloudster.

Cloud-like feel goes away with inserts and slower running than expected
With great expectations I laced these up and wanted to walk around the block before going on the first run. The walking was fine and comfortable. The running was okay.Within a mile I started to feel some old symptoms of PF due to minimal arch support in the shoe. So I turned and headed back home to put my inserts in and tried again after some stretching. This had an impact on running feel with the shoe. The 'cloud' effect is minimized without their insert. I found the landing (mid-foot striker) much harder and the follow-through okay though not the cloud-like euphoria some reviewers have experienced.Even on the treadmill for intervals the shoe is not as responsive as I was expecting. After a couple of weeks, when during the same workouts after swapping to my Launch 3's, the Brooks win every time. 800m time trial; 3 secs slower with OC. 2 mile time trial; 41 secs slower in OC.I do like the style and will be wearing them for walking around. Size-wise they ran a touch larger than expected though this is better than too small.

Radically different sole design give improved running performance
Radically different sole design. The large open side cavities at both forfoot and heel sections allow much more flexing during each stride. The added flexing combined with very resilient rubber like sole means excellent bounce and energy return, To test bounce I lift my foot with the shoe on it while seated one foot high and let it free fall onto a concrete floor. These shoes have a noticeably higher bounce than any of my other running shoes tested. I tested them on the indoor track at my fitness center. I was noticeably less tired after running a half mile at my normal speed and I had enough energy to do the last lap at very high speed. They are also very comfortable walking shoes due to the extra sole flexing that absorbs shock. Due to the reduced contact area and thin sole rubber at the cavities, the shoes will wear out faster than traditional shoes. Very reasonably priced for a high technology shoe.

On Cloud Sneakers are great....however..
I have 3 pairs of on cloud sneakers and love'em. However, the denim blue/lime green pair back right heal cracked (ON Men's Cloudster) and is now making an annoying clicking noise. I would buy on this brand again, but not this model. I am hoping the manufacturer will review their engineering on this model. Thank you!

Sooo comfortable
I'm not a runner, but I work 12-hr shifts in an ER and am on my feet a lot. These are so comfortable! I happened across them on Amazon while looking for something else, decided to try them, and am sooo glad I did. I'll probably be getting more. Highly recommend these shoes.

A narrow shoe....
They are a narrow style and I have a wide foot with a high arch. I should have looked for a wider size. I'm not sure there was even a selection of different widths. The length was fine and, perhaps, after breaking in, they will fit better. Right now, I have blisters on both heels.

My feet are in love.
So I have been debating buying these shoes for awhile and I have to say I am not disappointed. By far the best running shoes my feet have had the pleasure to enter. I only have 10 miles on them at this point, but they have changed my running. I love them.

I feel like I'm walking on clouds
Having looked at a bazillion pair of shoes that won't hurt my feet, these are a dream come true. And they're aptly named. I feel like I'm walking on clouds. Just wish they weren't so blasted pricey.Edited to add: Should have known it was too good to last. The sole wore through at the toe in less than 3 months. It could not be repaired. Comfort? Yes. Durable? Not at all.
