Alphacool13178 Laing DDC310 - Single Edition - Silver Water Cooling Pumps

I got this Laing pump to use in the Phanteks Glacier reservoir. IMPORTANT: The Glacier requires a DDC pump that has an impeller diameter that is smaller than the standard pump. I originally installed an EK DDC pump but the impeller was too big and wouldn't turn, since it made contact with the res housing. The Laing, however, works great, and the build quality is so much better. It's in a solid metal housing with integrated cooling fins. It's very quiet and moves a lot of water. The only thing I would change is the color of the power cables, which should be black in my opinion; they are blue and yellow, so they could be difficult to hide in your build, depending on where they are.

I didn’t even get a chance to see if it worked or not. It came full of scum and the base was all rusted. Not to mention the wires not even being attached. It looked like the wires were fine when I took it out of the box, but they weren’t attached to anything, just held in by the base.

Used this in my first custom cooling loop. Getting good flow with 16mm hard PETG tube. It is silent and fits well in the phanteks glacier R220 PH-220 reservoir.

Came DOA and wasn't able to get it replaced. Real sad cus I've heard good things about this pump.

Die Pumpe hat eine gute Leistung, wenn man sie aber nicht entkoppelt ist sie sehr laut.Nach bisher 4 verschiedenen Pumpen kann ich sagen, dass die einzige leise DDC die DDC 3.2 von EKWB ist.

Also Einbau war an sich klasse.Das blaue Kabel ans mainboard und das schwarz/gelbe natürlich an das Netzteil.Die Pumpe hat volle 36 Stunden funktioniert und Siege da: Ausfall + Leck.Unterm Strich hat mir das was gebracht?Ärger!Kann mich nur den Vorredner anschließen.Meine komplette Wasserkühlung ist von Alphacool und muss leider bestätigen dass ich damit nahezu immer Ärger hatte. (3 Pumpenausfälle in einem Jahr, undicht an Radiatoren sowie der Ausgleichsbehälter undicht).

Produkt kam gut verpackt an. Habe die Pumpe natürlich sofort in meine Wasserkühlung eingebaut, da lieft sie auch erst einmal sehr leise und gut. Auf einmal dann aber nicht mehr.Daraufhin habe ich natürlich erst einmal wieder alles abgebaut um zu überprüfen, was los war. Es stellte sich heraus, dass Wasser ins Innere der Pumpe gekommen war, die Elektronik ist hinüber - die Pumpe damit auch.Immerhin konnte ich das Lager in meine alte Laing DDC einbauen. Sonst wäre der Kauf eine reine Geldverschwendung gewesen.

Nach einem Monat defekt..... Fängt einfach nicht an zu drehen bzw zu pumpen.
