This shipped extremely fast, that made me so happy 😊.I'm also so happy with the auger itself.I still have a clog but it's NOT the augers fault. The clog is tough, I see A LOT of improvement in the drainage situation because of the auger. Also the auger is very strong and easy to retract back into the drum after use. I'm glad I bought it from this company!! 🤗

Originally bought this for a specific toilet in our apartment that seems to clog every other week, figured it’d be better than calling maintenance constantly when we can do it ourselves. I spent a good 20-30minutes trying to figure out how to get the snake to spin out and down into the pipe. I read the instructions multiple times and still couldn’t get it. Eventually I turned to YouTube and after finding a video that showed the same type of product it made sense. You have to hand feed/push the snake down into the pipes, once you get to a turn or hard spot you have to tighten the screw and that’s when you slowly start turning the handle to push it through. Once you’ve pushed through the turn you loosen the screw again and continue to use your hand to feed/push the snake down further and continue the process until you get to the clog or end of the snake and then that’s when you can twist it back in to the holder. I was using a disposable cloth to wipe off the snake while winding it back up.That’s what worked for me. I thought it was going to be much simpler… it wasn’t for me unfortunately. It did the job we needed it for but not sure I’ll do it myself again.

I saw a lot of reviewers being frustrated and breaking their plumbing snake.So here is what I did:- Hand feed the snake through the pipe you're trying to unclog.- When you get to a point where it won't feed through anymore, even if you only have a foot or so in the pipe, feed the extra snake length back into the casing for the snake and tighten down the screw.- at this point the handle for your auger and snake casing should be right up at the pipe you are working on.- start cranking away on the auger turn handle.- eventually you will feel the snake pop through to the area you're trying to feed it through. Usually it's a bend or a turn in the pipe.- loosen the screw and feed more snake into the pipe until you can't go any further. Don't force the snake too hard or you will kink it and could permanently bend it.- feed the extra snake length back into the auger casing, and tighten down the screw.- crank the auger turn handle until you feel the snake pop through to the next section of pipe.I repeated this over and over until I ran out of snake. It was basically going from my upstairs all the way to my basement plumbing. Cleared my pipes really well!

awful Snake Pipe that did not up to the mark and fails to deliver its intended purpose. Firstly, the product is extremely difficult to advance, which makes it a nightmare to use. It requires a lot of strength and effort to move it forward, which makes the task of unclogging a toilet even more challenging.Moreover, after multiple attempts to use it to unclog the toilet, it proved to be of no help, and the blockage remained intact. This is quite frustrating as this is the primary reason for purchasing a drain auger in the first place.To make matters worse, the product started rusting after the very first use, which shows that the quality of the materials used in its construction is questionable. This not only makes it ineffective but also potentially hazardous to use.Overall, I would not recommend this Plumbing Snake Pipe Snake to anyone in need of a reliable drain auger. Its poor performance, difficulty of use, and low-quality materials make it a waste of money and time.

This didn't help with my clog. It also said to always remember to apply oil to the chain before returning it to the inside of the drum.... There is no way to do that, and the auger just ends up completely rusted over.

Great product!I'm so glad I ordered this product,it arrived very quickly. I read the instruction pamphlet and use to work on my bathroom drain clog. The 25 feet was long enough, when I pulled the line back in, there was a massive hair ball attached. For the price, this is a very good deal. I had originally used Drano and another different brand drain cleaner and I believe it pushed the clog further in. Now that the clog has been fixed, I'm so happy that I won't need to call the plumber! What a bargain! It fixed the problem in 10 minutes. It takes a lot of hand power to really get it going. But nothing any guy would have trouble with. But it works. It also cost less than a big bottle of drano, and I tried several of those before getting this.I am glad I took the chance.

Had a stubborn sink drain and tried draino but it didn't help. Bought this and it cleaned out the blockage and worked like a charm.

Easy to use. I didn't have to wait a week for the plumber to show up. I bought a 25' snake'''good thing because the blockage was 18' down the line. it took about 1/2hr to free but I rest easy because I still have the snake. Well worth the money.

Clearing a main pipe for washer drain ..first use handle broke off but it did clear the drain !
