great priced strong easy to use adhesive.tiles aint coming back off

This a very good adhesive for floor tiles but it sets so quickly that I'd suggest it's more for experienced DIYers or professionals, as it states on the packaging. 20 minutes isn't a lot of time to position floor tiles correctly and the mixture stiffens rapidly. We mixed half a bag at once and only just had time to lay the tiles before it became unworkable, although we did have some mosaic work to do. I'd say we are moderately experienced and had done a lot of preparation beforehand to both the substrate and in terms of having tools on hand, a water source etc.Admittedly, we back buttered the tiles, which I think is essential with porcelain but does add time to the job.It mixes very well indeed. We used a power mixer, which is highly recommended.If I was to do the job over, I'd find another Mapei product which had a longer setting time. Attached is a pic (prior to cleaning up!) to give an idea of my comments vs. the scale/complexity of our project.Edit: After further consideration I've decided to upgrade my rating to 5 stars. The product itself is faultless and mixes brilliantly. Not sure why I went with 4 stars initially.
