JAPONESQUE Luminous Foundation, (Shades 01-10)

Gf review: This foundation was introduced to me by a makeup artist @ Ulta. So glad to be able to buy this on Amazon, since stores stopped carrying products. My skin is 40 yr old. Asian, combo type with some fine lines, and shade NC 20-25. In the past I have been matched with beige (which has a tendency to lean grey) or yellow (which leans artificial yellow). The shade 06 has enough natural yellow tone to brighten my skin. The silicone formulation settles down to a natural, medium coverage and allows my face to flex. I was able to test IT CC cream (no pore coverage and fines lines overemphasized) and came back to this. I also pair this with the powder 03 to set. It’s worth the splurge.

This stuff is amazing!!! I have tried it with a brush and beauty blender and it’s awesome both ways. It instantly brightens and just makes your skin look beautiful. I would say it’s medium coverage, and layering gets you more coverage. I’ve been searching for an HG foundation since the discontinued the Lancôme Tient Idole cushion, and this one is it!!! I’m blonde with medium skin with rosy undertones, and shade 5 was perfect.

I used to buy this at Ulta but they stopped carrying it - I am sooo glad Amazon still has it, this is my favorite foundation ever. It's not too thick and provides the perfect amount of coverage. I'm fair with dark features, I wear the shade 02 most of the year and 05 when I'm tan in the summer.

Light-skinned African American. Love it. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is one of the few that I haven't had a reaction to it dried my skin out. Light coverage. If you are looking for heavy coverage this is not the product for you. Had to go a little darker in shade for this brand than I typically do. The shade I would normally go with or would match with other lines in the past was two shades too light. In pretty much all other lines I'm medium or medium neutral. In this line I'm medium dark.

My product was damaged I love the foundation but i expected to be in a perfect condition.

#4 is the perfect color. I have fair skin with a slight olive tone. It cancels out the red above my eyebrows and my cheeks have a natural ruddiness that with one coat give my cheeks a luminous rosy cheek. This is a buildable foundation but you might find you like one light coat and go. Make sure to wear a moisturizer underneath if you have dry skin and suggest applying with a brush for best results but I also use a makeup sponge and that does come out fine too. I have been using this for the last 5 months and a bottle will last you a long time. One pump does the job. If you are looking for a foundation with yellow tone to it, you will not be disappointed!

03 purchased. Used to buy at Ulta, they stopped carrying. Arrived broken and leaking, but keeping as don't want to deal with return. If bottles were factory sealed so I was assured of purity of product would consider buying from Amazon again. But for now, won't order again.Love the foundation itself, one of the few with a pinkish undertone instead of the orangey tone on my very fair skin tone.

I was actually recommended this brand when it was still sold at ULTA. I can tell you that I've never had anything this light on my face. It's water-based so it's light and easy to clean off. I recently had to buy a different brand from a local store and it just felt so heavy and so thick. It also was hard to clean off and it made my whole skin look fake.It left my skin with pimples afterwards.

Awesome colour and coverage. Very liquidy, nice foundation finish. Blends well. I massage it on like lotion 🤪. My mom said something like "What makeup?" to me.

Me encantó la consistencia y que queda natural y deja una apariencia uniforme o aterciopelada. Si bien no me equivoqué en el tono, sí hubiera preferido medio tono más abajo. Sin embargo el producto es de tan buena calidad que no me molesta verme un poco "bronceada" =)

Lovely smooth foundation which applies well, and looks very natural yet flawless when using the Japonesque silicone primer and a damp beauty blender. I prefer this over my Clinique and Dior liquid foundations. Being a guy, I need my makeup to look very natural and undetectable; I have MS and use makeup to appear healthier than I am! This works well for me.

Me gusta mucho la base, es luminosa e hidratante para mi que tengo piel seca, duradera también, lo único es que me equivoqué en el tono, hubiera sido mejor para mí un tono 04, pero la base en sí, es excelente.

Looks and feels lovely nice coverage I apply with a foundation brush.Looks lovely all day.
