I've been using MopTop for a while now, and I love it! I'm so happy to find it on Amazon instead of having to go to Whole Foods to get it. MopTop is gentle but gets the sweat and excess oil out of my hair from my daily workouts in hot, humid weather. I have long, fine, wavy/curly hair, and it looks great thanks to MopTop's line. For years, the back of my head used to itch after exercise, and I thought it was normal and caused by the salt in sweat. After using MopTop for a week or two, my head stopped itching. And my scalp doesn't get dry and flakey in the winter anymore. My daughter also uses the shampoo and Daily Conditioner on her long, straight, color-treated hair and loves it, which surprised me because she's a super picky brand snob who has zero interest in natural products. (With the shampoo, you can kind of tell it's a natural product because sometimes one of the ingredients settles in the bottom of the bottle. It's all the same color, but the bottom looks thicker or a different consistency. I stored the bottle upside down for a day to even it out again.) Anyway, this shampoo is the perfect mix of gentle but effective.After seeing noticeably better scalp and hair health with the shampoo and conditioner, I started using several products in the line, including the Curly Hair Custard, Leave In Conditioner, Hair Gel, Mongongo Oil and Clarifying Shampoo. I mix MopTop products with another brand of hair thickening cream (MopTop doesn't have one or I'd use it), and pick my hair cocktail depending on the day's weather. I always start with MopTop shampoo and conditioner, and I always get compliments on my hair! You definitely can't go wrong with this shampoo!

Ok I usually don’t write reviews. I have been trying to find a healthy curly hair routine. I have bought more products than I want to admit. Tried this for the first time today. OMG! Defined my curls, held them all day and soft. Most curly hair products make my hair feel heavy or dirty feeling. These products did not. I was a little unsure of the texture and smell but not a bad citrus smell.

I am new to this line of hair products- and working with everything the shampoo and conditioner are nice I have very thick fizzy mixed curling hair. I will say I love the custard, so definitely give that one a go.

I brought this product based on reviews and rates, and after a two months average of continuing use I have to share my great experience with this product.Need to say that it was a gift for an aunt who has a long curly hair, she used to use another brand for long time but discontinued right now but already find the product she will use for another long time.Give it a try!

Like most curly girls, I have tried a lot of different gels. Mop Top does a great job giving me defined curls. I have fine 3a curls.

this gel does smell good and I do like the hold it provides. There is no flaking and once it is dry it is very soft. My big complaint is that it is so thick it takes FOREVER to dry. I don't know if its just my hair - but it just clumps on and takes FOREVER to dry. I have to wait until the next day to have hair that doesn't look wet.Once the bottle was 2/3 empty I added water - about 50/50 - and it is much better. My hair actually looks dry the same day.I am still on the fence if I am going to purchase this again

This product is a game changer! I've been using it for years and it has truly made such a difference with my curly, frizzy hair. This conditioner is a perfect weight, not too light but yet not greasy and it keeps the frizz down. I don't rinse it all out and that really keeps my curls smooth. Love this stuff!

We first bought this years ago at Whole Foods but they recently stopped carrying it. Other "clean" shampoos we tried left our hair looking dull, off color and dry, greasy and limp or had ingredients we didn't want to be exposed to. Try Mop Top for yourself and see and feel the difference.
