I am very impressed with this tool. It made my life so much easier this year as compared to unpowered hand tools I have previously used. Appears well made and I was able to do all my tree trimming, front and back yard, for the spring on one charge. That entailed 9 Trees this year. And I started cutting up my limb pile. It was nice to stand completely upright at a distance and clear from danger while cutting up my huge pile of limbs. I ran out of juice before the battery did.My only concern with this tool would be that the extended pole seems to be very lightweight aluminum that would be susceptible to breaking or kinking if dropped or allowed to fall against a limb, or even just cyclic stress. I have had many pool poles that were made of thicker aluminum that simply failed due to use. It would be nice to know if a replacement extension pole could be purchased if this were to occur. a broken pole would render the saw completely useless.

When I first got the saw, I cut several large limbs with ease. It was a wonderful tool. However a few months later, I got the saw out again and charged the battery. It was totally dead. Even after 24 hrs of charging the battery is useless. I also have to say after assembling the pole saw, I realized whoever made this product is not familiar with the length of a foot. It is NOT as long as advertised when fully extended. I am very disappointed and don’t recommend this product to anyone.

I used to use a ladder and chain saw to cut tree branches that were hard to reach. It wasn’t safe so I decided to look for a battery powered pole saw.This pole saw works as described and the price was a good value.The pole saw is light and sturdy. Assembly was fast and easy. Installing the chain took a while. If you haven’t used a chain saw, wear gloves before holding the chain. At first, the chain kept jumping off the sprocket. Just tighten the chain until the chain doesn’t turn. Back off the tension until it runs. I removed and installed the chain several times and the saw doesn’t over lubricate the chain.After a few cuts, check and adjust the tension as needed.I used this saw to remove a few 1 inch diameter tree branches 12 feet high. It was easy to adjust the pole length and the strap comes in handy to help steady the pole.The saw cuts the branches quickly and cleanly. I made about 4 cuts plus a few cuts on the ground the battery is still strong.I would recommend purchasing another chain and the bar and chain oil.

I have used mine quite a bit, and it seems sturdy enough for all the trimming I use it for so far. It cuts through the limbs claimed in the description easily, and the battery lasts longer than I do most of the time. It recharges pretty fast, and one fill of the blade oil tank lasts for hours.The only thing I don't care much for is the support strap. I have a lot of small trees taking over a sidehill, and this is much better for clearing them than a full-sized chainsaw, but the support strap just gets in the way doing that. It doesn't help support the cutting head when used horizontally.

Looking at the pics, this looked cheaply made, but something told me to get it any way. This is better than I thought. Reading the reviews, I knew it came without chain oil, but I already had some, so no problem. This starts like butter, cuts through wood like butter, and it's runs like butter. The length, not worried about that. I'm just glad it works well and it reaches high enough for me.It felt good to finally cut the branches that's been hanging in my way since forever when I mow grass. Battery seems pretty good, and I have a strong feeling it will last. Charge was still good after I finished cutting for about 15 minutes. Still could go longer.I really like this tool and recommend this for real!!!!!Don't sleep on this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Update: Now that I've had more time to use the saw I'm even more happy with it. The chain is holding up well. The slack adjustment is tool-less, it is easy to adjust and holds well. The chain oils the chain very lightly so it's not wasting oil and making a mess like my 110v saw does. The battery and charger are also compatible with my 20v KIMO tools batteries and chargers.Easy tool-less assembly. Cuts well and my Neighbor says the sweet spot is 2-3" in diameter. He's the one up on the ladder doing the cutting.The strap makes it a lot more comfortable than just holding the saw, something my corded pole saw lacks.I would recommend this saw.

So complicated to put together, had to call my brother in law in who is a landscaper and he had a helluva time trying to assemble it. Also, wouldn't assemble properly and won't telescope. Worst part, even after over an hour of getting it put together now that spring is here, there was no chain oil, just an empty bottle. Very disappointed.
