Versatile easily installed lighting.
I fitted 6 of these in our 18ft x 12ft kitchen. On full brightness, they are sufficient for preparation of a banquet, when the cooking is done and it's a lazy, eat in the kitchen day, they can be easily dimmed to more relaxed setting. They are large compared with other LED lamps that put out the same light and this means that they never produce a glareing, intense light, even when fully on.Not cheap, but versatile and hopefully the Philips name will provide a long life. They are guaranteed for 5 years with a guarantee that should be worth the paper it's written on.

Bright simple lights
We wanted a very simple light for the bedroom as it is not often used and we wanted something that was not very prominent. We also needed it to be quite slim as one of the light fittings is near where our wardrobe's door opens. This was so easy to install and great quality from Philips. There are three levels of brightness that are adjusted by turning the light on and off in succession to choose how bright you wish the light to be. We bought the 18 w option but probably could have got away with 15 w. They are about the size of a dinner plate but very slim and on the brightest setting are very bright.

Stylish, integrated LED.
Build quality is OK - lightweight plastic but well designed. Looks very stylish when fitted, slim and unobtrusive. The connectors are well thought out with some room to get the wire lengths right, so very easy to install. It doesn't use an earth. The three stage brightness is very useful. Mine remembers the last setting and I can't see any flickering. We find the feature useful as we leave it switched onto the low setting in our porch when we are expecting a delivery. Two downsides - it seems very pricey for cheap chinese plastic, and I was expecting a replaceable LED as the bulb base is shown as GU10. However, it is integrated in the assembly. Probably not a problem as LEDs seem to have a very long life now. As ever, time will tell.

Modern sleek LED light
Great price and speedy efficient delivery as I’ve come to expect from Amazon. I’ve bought 6 of these for my new build apartment in Spain. Look fantastic from the box and will compliment the spot lights fitted in the kitchen and above built in wardrobes within requiring additional holes in the ceiling. I will update review once fitted

Good, but flickers
Good light, nice diffuse output and convenient dimming without having to change wiring or install a dimmer switch, and bright... however it has a major downside: it flickers. Normally Philips LEDs are really good at not flickering, so this one is disappointing. Flickering is most noticeable when dimmed.

Not REALLY dimmable!
The light is very simple: a flat round thing the size of a dinner plate. If you want something inobtrusive, that's the ticket. The installation is really simple; probably the easiest light I've ever mounted, and I've done a few.The two downers are... It says in the listing that it's dimmable; but if you read the instructions - provided you can find the explanation for 'Symbol #31' on an A0-sized sheet of small print in every language in the Universe, it says 'don't fit another dimmer'. In other words, it's only dimmable in the sense of having three lighting levels; you can't pair it with a dimmer wall switch. The other one is that the 'memory function' doesn't seem to work. Supposedly, if you switch it off, and then on after 5 mins or more, it'll return to the lighting level it's been switched off from (if you do the on-off at shorter intervals it'll cycle through the three levels). But when I do that, it goes straight to the brightest one. Not the end of the world, but it really is quite bright, and you might not want it.But other than that, it's a nice little piece, and works a treat.
