Hi-Tec Waimea Falls, Women's Sandals

These shoes are generally comfortable, light and easy to wear but there are a couple of minor irritations. Firstly I cannot understand why they put an adjustable strap crossing over a non-adjustable one; no matter how much the adjustable one is adjusted it doesn't make any difference to the size (width) as the non-adjustable one determines this. For me this non-adjustable strap is only just loose enough and I would really have preferred it to be a bit looser for more comfort (I have high arches). The second irritation is the hook and loop fastening for the back strap. The loop part is attached to the strap which folds back on itself to fasten, and the hook part is on the longer part which goes round the back of the heel. This means that the hook part is exposed if the loop part does not completely cover it, which would make the shoes virtually unwearable as the strap round the back of the heel would be too short. The irritation with this is that the hooks catch on the hems of trousers, and pick up bits from other fabrics/hair/carpet fluff etc which is at floor level. These are minor design faults which could be rectified with a bit of thought, but as I said previously overall I find the shoes comfortable to wear and walk in.

The pink colour is not one that attracts a lot of attention as many would expect; I myself was relieved on seeing the actual colour.I am not giving 5 stars as I have not worn the sandals to go out yet, but I am very satisfied with the appearance, and also they are not heavy at all.I would recommend those wearing half sizes to order half a size up: I normally wear 5.5, but for these sandals size 6 were perfect for me, as I did not want to risk having my toes just on the border (which in my opinion is pretty ugly)

These sandals are comfortable which is all I really want in sandals. However, they get a 4 rather than 5 star for 2 reasons. The first is that the cross straps, which are not adjustable, are slightly tight and I don't have wide feet though I'm sure they will slacken with wear. The second is that the Velcro closures on the heel stick to the hem of my trousers when going upstairs especially. That is very annoying and has caused some threads on the hems of trousers to come loose. However, these are minor points as there has been no rubbing even when feet get hot.

I bought these sandals for a trip to Lisbon, where I knew it was going to be hot and I was going to spend the whole day walking around. I put them on as soon as I got off the plane, and wore them every day of my trip. I got a blister on the first day, where one of the straps pinched the side of my foot, so I put on a plaster and kept walking. By the next day the sandals had adapted to my feet, and were great to walk in. Now I am back home, and the sandals still look great.

A very comfy sandal which I bought to meander around the shops on a Saturday. The sandals are a lovely colour. I find the back strap far too short. The Velcro bit is short. I have a vast amount of very pale Velcro showing - doesn't look nice. Only 2 centimetres are actually attached. This does not give me confidence to wander 'afar'.I've amended this review as I've really pulled the back strap - so stretched the elastic bit - this took a few walks in a tight fitting sandal but now the look has improved.

I ordered a size 4. They were a good close fit. Sometimes this size can be slightly big for me as I have fairly narrow feet. I was really pleased with them. Didn't really need to '"break them in". They arrived as promised, just in time for a holiday. They were really comfortable for walking all day. I liked the strappy style which was not too out of place for evenings. Also colour is just right for anything!I wrote this review before my holiday. On holiday after wearing for 2 days, the strap broke. I did manage to use the Velcro to temporarily repair them which was amazing. However, I e.mailed Amazon who were extremely helpful, and had no problem getting a replacement.The sandals have been great all summer., Very comfortable. They are good for long walks, but still have a good look for summer evenings.

I liked the colour of these shoes, and they are practical as well as being relatively comfortable. A couple of things to note- if you have a short little toe, this could be an issue, as the toe strap comes quite low down, and my little toe only just fits under the strap. I also got an annoying blister under my 4th toe. This did go once the shoes were 'broken in'. Once they were, they were very comfy.

These - while not the best looking - are safe, sturdy, and anatomically correct. They have an arch support moulded into the sole which makes them super comfortable (unlike ballet flats whichare the most unsupportive shoe I have ever seen/worn). The blue is a cornflower colour - and the straps a softish fabric - sturdy enough to support though. Only down side may be down to the shape of my feet - my little toes keep popping out of the side.
