Nordic Ware Platinum Celebration Tiered Cakelet Pan

Used it for my 3 year old cinderella party instead of a sheet cake I had these mini wedding cakes for each person. Turned out great. I greased and floured the pans which resulted in no sticking. Heated the frosting a little to thin it, easier as a glaze. Clean up was difficult hard to get the pans clean, soak for quite awhile in warm soapy water.

Actually I purchased it as a gift to someone. They loved it. I personally haven't seen a creation made it in as of yet but they assured me this was top-notch and quality Nordic Ware and was pleased to own a produce of this value.

Yikes. This was difficult to use. Even when I did manage to get the cakelet out of the pan without ripping off the top tier, the intricate decorations were completely covered if you add any frosting. I piped frosting on because to use a spatula just made the cake come apart. If you use frosting the cake just looks like a mound of frosting - unappetizing, really.Most importantly, grease and flour the pan, and put a 1" circle of parchment paper on the bottom before scooping in the cake batter. It'll release much easier that way. I had a Creative Memories 1" circle paper punch that I used to make the circles which worked slick!Save yourself some time and just order or make some fancy cupcakes.

Great pan. I used this to make miniature doll cakes for my 7 y.o.'s birthday party. The girls at the party stuck princess dolls inside the top of the cakes and then frosted and decorated the bottom of the "dress" to their liking. I then cello-wrapped their individual cakes and that became their gift to take home.

I own a handful of shaped/specialty NordicWare pans and love them.This one needs to go back to the drawing board.I was surprised to see the metal itself is a lot lighter than my other pans. (I believe the darker metal leaves crisper lines in the baked goods.) But the pan itself is decently heavy so I went with it. Sadly, the design was barely imprinted on the cakes -- I couldn't even see it to trace with piping gel. (I made red velvet cakes; I don't believe the batter was the issue.)I haven't given up on NordicWare and their specialty pans, but I will be sure to check the color of the metal inside the pan before I buy.Amazon was great about issuing an immediate refund, including shipping.

This pan is ok but the ornamentation is not very good but it was alright. Cooked well and to be honest I put it through the dishwasher to clean it up.

I was looking all over to find a pan that would make little cakes like this. It is a very sturdy, hardy pan. I would definitely recommend. The only thing that kinda sucked about it was that when you make the cakes they round up on the stop so you have to cut it to make it flat.

I haven't used this pan yet. I am taking cake decorating and love the idea of learning how to "fondant" these beautiful cakes. The pan was sent in due time, even earlier than fore-told. Nordic Ware has such wonderful cake pan products, I don't hesitate to trust any purchase from them when ordering. I love it!
