Q: Are these true to size?

Yes they are true to size. I really like them but have difficulty getting them on because the shoe and the tongue of the shoe are all one piece. You can’t “loosen” the tongue.

Q: are these wide width because another brand i bought were too narrow

No. They fit me perfectly. They're neither a wide width or narrow width. I wear a size 10 and they fit just like regular. The only thing that I found to be different is that the laces are really long and I have to double tie them.

Yes, they run true to size and are extremely comfortable.

Q: How does shoe size run on the smaller size?

I ordered an 8.5 since that is my normal size but I had to return and order an 8 because it was too big.
