It’s a great mid weight layer
In the description it says it is a lightweight layer... it is definitely not lightweight as in how much it weighs in actual weight and it is what we in the backpacking world would call a mid weight-heavy merino wool layer.... I gave 4stars because it will be useful and is an amazing mid weight layer that will go great under a rain jacket on the trail....

Warm, comfortable and good looking
The Helly Hansen brand has been good for me, but this was my first heavy baseline product of theirs. It was just as good as the other HH baselines, shirts and jackets that I own. The fit is good, and it keeps me warm with easy movement. It was slightly itchy when I first tried it on, but it was fine after it was washed the first time.

warm, comfortable, finally a base top for the bigs
Im big and need XXXL and this is the first and only well fitting base layer top for skiing that I have found. Its very well made, nice and comfy, warm, with even a bit of style (something almost never found in the XXXL world, where for some reason almost everything is black only). I'm stocking up on these and highly recommend for the larger among us that like to ski and board.

Nice base layer
This is a very nice and functional base layer. Fit is great, it is comfortable to wear. Wool is excellent for cooler weather. As I just bought this I cannot comment on the long term but am hopeful it continues to work out for some time.

Runs small
Bought for my son, he's 5'6", 115 lbs, bought a medium and it's tight....this runs small.

Quality merino wool. I like style of my other jelly Hansen more
Very effective to ski. I didn’t notice that this particular style had a under chest stitch that makes me feel like it’s a woman style. Top quality merino wool

Best $40 I spent
One of the best thermals I own, comfy and warm but not overheating.

Perfect all-round top
Perfect! The most comfortable fit for an average shape guy. Not too tight anywhere and super comfey. I got this for walks in the damp Scottish weather but it also looks good just as a general wear top. Plus the merino wool is an incredible material - never too warm, just perfect. I have tried long sleeve base laters from Under Armour and Nike and this is my favourite.

Great Winter Base Layer for Excercise
Had one of these for what seemed like forever. Checked on Amazon and sure enough i had bought it in 2012, so ordered another. Wear it most winters frequently from cycling daily and skiing. Holds up well. Handy for the daily commute as even after 3 consecutive wears it never smells due to the merino wool component. Been through a million washes and still no holes or fraying...and being a composite, the moths won't eat it over the summer months. Looks the part too.

Brilliant bit of kit.
Fantastic quality. Keeps me warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot. Fits like a glove and extremely comfortable to wear. I particularly like the long body length.

Fantastic Tops - Very Warm!
I got two of these in the lead up to Christmas during the Black Friday Sales. Absolute bargain! Very warm, very comfortable. I really like the long zip at the front, which helps you regulate temperature and cool off during high activity. Can’t recommend them enough.

it is worth every penny. Durable, warm and great design
I thought this is a bit expensive, but it is worth every penny. Durable, warm and great design.updated: I got a second one in different colour scheme. The old is still in very good condition. The only thing is that the stripes on the sleeve started coming off.
