Q: I just got this avr....the subwoofer i have with it works great- until i switch to stereo mode...is there something i need to do to make the sub work?

Stereo mode does not send info to the subwoofer by default. You should be able to adjust that in the receiver's settings. Make sure your front speakers are set up as "small" not "large". When set to large, most bass frequencies get sent to the speaker and not the subwoofer. Also, keep in mind that while movies in stereo mode carry ".1" information for the subwoofer, many stereo CDs do not carry that info. You'll have to manually set the subwoofer's crossover. Doing so takes a little more knowledge of audio, and the crossover frequency you want will vary based on what kind of speakers and sub you have. Contact your manufacturers for recommendations on crossover settings.

Q: Does this receiver support Chromecast?

It has chromecast. You access it through the "Web" source which also includes Pandora and other web sources.

Q: Does this include the mic for the mcacc?

Yes. Since this product is new in box, it will include everything necessary for the sound correction calibration.

Q: Can you adjust the bass and treble manually, as well as the EQ, or do you have to use presets?

Per source, you can adjust the levels of bass and treble with easy +/- adjustments, or you can create 3 fully adjustable EQ settings that will be saved as custom presets and can use them however you wish.
