Sharp and strong
Easy cutting of multi size branches, especially older, gnarly tougher branches. The grip is superior to older styles, as hand fatigue does not frequently occur.

Best set I have ever purchased
I do a lot of trimming on all types of plants and trees. The ratchet system works fantastic. I highly recommend these cutters. They are the best cutters I’ve ever had and I have landscaped professionally for many years. They even cut through Burning Bush stalks. Which is saying something because if you’ve landscaped before you know, burning bushes are very hard to cut through. The new growth of the Burning Bush is no problem at all to cut. It’s the older stalks which are very hard wood.

Plenty big for female hand
These do a fine job although, they are plenty big for my hand . I am female with RA. They are good trimmers

Effective, Efficient, What's Not to Love?
Ok, I hate to admit it, but I'm getting older. In the grand scheme of things, that's appropriate. I prefer it to the alternative at this time. An unpleasant side effect is a noticeable decline in my hand strength. Using a regular pruner is an option, but why not use something that works well and saves my hands from some wear and tear? This works, allows the ratcheting to save my strength, keeps me from after-yardwork discomfort, and so far I haven't misplaced them once. So I'm well-pleased with this small investment that's paying nice dividends in comfort and timeliness. I will admit I nearly bypassed this pruner for a small, one-hand, mini chainsaw thing, but I'm not fond of that much noise. Besides, the government might outlaw them for not being green enough, lol.

amended review - original headline was: broke after less than a month
I have to amend my review because the customer service for this product by Truly Garden was quite good. When they saw my original negative review they immediately reached out and offered to replace or refund my money. I opted to have them replace, because I do want this product to work as described. They quickly sent me a new set of hand pruners. I've not yet used them because its currently winter here, but the way they responded so positively to my issue merits me adding stars to the review. If the pruners work well this spring, I'll add more. The pin broke on this after less than a month - this product did not work well for me at all - if all of them are crafted as poorly as the one I received, cannot recommend at all

Extra cutting power, well made
These ratcheting anvil clippers extend the size/density of branches that can be cut easily before reaching for your long handled loppers; a real plus when diving into old shrubs and vines. A couple of squeezes and a twist can make a clean cut in pretty good sized branches. The anvil style passive side of the cutter is notched to ensure a good grip on the object and a very sharp blade makes for a clean cut all the way through. This seller, perhaps because it is veteran owned, is also particularly interested in providing the customer what they need to maintain the tool for an extended life. The oiling swab, sharpening steel and instructions to clean and maintain the tool show how serious they are about ensuring that their tools can give long service. As a user of several of their tools for some years I can attest to the quality of the tools as well as the attentive customer service Truly Garden provides.

Overpriced Junk
Blade fractured first day, on a less than challenging 1/4” branch on an evergreen shrub. It seems that if you are spending under $100, there is no difference in quality control on these tools, all on par with the cheapest. Save your money and buy something decent.
