A**S
was good WHEN it wrote
A Few issues: the nib, a medium, was good WHEN it wrote. Most days, it skipped when I started writing and it took a while for the flow to kick in. Even so, it did not write well on semi-gloss paper. It was difficult to write in my Muji notebook, though it performed better in a Leuchtturm journal. The pen converter - the bladder the Conklin uses - stained quickly, though I was using a fairly light Sailor ink, nothing like Noodler's or Diamine for intensity. Worse, the cap stained and was not cleanable. I feel like the pen is very fussy and is meant to be looked at and admired rather than used. (It does look wonderful and I was sad to return it, but I need to use my pens.)
