Alliance Hobby High Performance Valve in a custom Crosman 2400 carbine.
I installed the high performance valve in my custom 2400 carbine and it does way more than I expected. I do not have a chronograph but a Exact Jumbo RS 13.4 grain .22 cal pellet would penetrate a cedar 2X4 8 millimeters before I altered my 20 inch Crosman. Now it will push the same pellet in 20 millimeters. Before modification I could get almost 40 shots out of a 12g powerlet. Now I replace it after 10 shots or once a week. If you are just punching paper and cans, I do not recommend this modification. If you have a squirrel sized pest taring your house down, then the Alliance mod is for you. My rifle will take out small game or pest with the authority of a springer. It is much lighter and easier to shoot.

Air flow?
Very disappointed, not "polished to a nice shine" as said. Only gave another 40fps on the chrono from a crosman custom 2300k. Took it apart, internals are rough.'

Definitely makes a difference
I can definitely feel the difference in power plus penetration power. No crony buts it's really just that easy to tell. I did pair this with the hammer spring and max flow valve so I assume those helped out too

Very Powerful upgrade Mod
After putting this into my crosman 2400, I used my crony and was getting 540 fps. almost 9 fpe. I shot at a tin can using crosman 14.3 grain hollow points at about 10 feet and thought I missed as the can did not move, nor did I hear it hit the can. I tried again and the same results. I went to the can and picked it up and their was two small hole in the front and two BIG exit holes, WOW. I really like the power and accuracy of this gun, but the trade off is I am only getting 14-15 shots per co2. I set up a target at 27 yards verified by a range finder, and my first shot, using a red dot sight, put the pellet smack square in the middle of the bulls eye. A target at 42 yards I hit about 3" down and 1" to the left. Not Bad! I really like shooting cans to see the results of what this gun can do.

Fantastic upgrade
I bought a Crosman 2240 specifically to upgrade to a higher powered carbine and this valve was extremely easy to exchange. None of the aftermarket upgrades had written directions but even so, I believe that this valve gave the gun the most noticeable power.

Pow Power valve gets an A++
Get yourself a 2240, and put a steel or aluminum breech on. Then install this valve, the recomended max-flo port, the spring is an option in my eyes. Last put as long of a barrel as you can, without going from pistol to rifle. OHH and some decent sights. You now have a high performance C02 .22 cal air gun. It shoots with authority, and has a respectable report. as a pistol with a 7 inch barrel, it lets so much air out it actually pushes the nose of the gun in the air the first 2 or 3 shots. I could take a small animal if I wanted, wich I do NOT. seriously though, you can build a good performing gun for not too much. It is worth every penny. consider putting a pump gun in your bug out bag, the ammo is cheap, and powered by pumping is free.

Good news, Bad news
Good news, Bad news. The item was easy to install (after modification) and made a huge difference in power. Original valve shot into 1/2" plywood at 15' had half the pellet sticking out. With the new valve the pellet was completely inside the plywood but not thru it. Bad news was initially it would not fit into the rifle because it was too large a diameter. Crossman is likely having these built in China or somewhere where there is little quality control. The original valve was 0.738" diameter as miked. The new Hi Power valve was 0.745" dia as received. Fortunately i have a small machine shop. I turned the new valve down to 0.740" and polished the outside and it slipped in perfectly. I also discovered that I can shoot the heacy 21-23 grain pellets and they have so much more kinetic energy than with the original valve. I think the # of shots has dropped from 30+ to around a dozen on a new CO2 cartridge, but the increased power is really worth it.. Squirrel city here I come.

Now I get 18 good HARD shots per jug and the difference is amazing
I have a Crosman 2300T, and with the stock valve I was getting 50 plus hard shots per jug. It is very accurate. I installed the power valve along with the wider transfer port and stronger hammer spring to boost the power. Now I get 18 good HARD shots per jug and the difference is amazing! Wow! The trade off is, it is now very LOUD! My neighbors are away whenever I shoot and I have a tall fence, but still. LOUD! If you are looking for power, this valve works; I would also get the stronger hammer spring and wider TX port to complete it. ROAR!
