Tattle Tea Irish Breakfast Black Tea Blend, 2 Pound

I ordered Irish Breakfast. It arrived on time. Tea appeared to be a nice full leaf tea but it was tasteless. It was not fresh and did nothing but barely color the water.it was not the robust flavor I was hoping for. Since I’m not extremely picky about my tea, I ordered 2 pounds. I’ve been mixing with other tea to work my way through it.

Best way to wake up in the morning! Nice mellow taste.....excellent product. The leaves are well died and hydrate fully with the addition of hot water. The color is a nice amber and smooth to taste. The packing is excellent and keeps the dry tea, well, dry and fresh

The cost/lb is quite good, but the flavor is very light. It seems as though the leaves are perhaps overly dry or poorly preserved (I don’t really know much about the process of making and preserving tea for shipment). In any event, it doesn’t have the same rich flavor that Bewley’s or even Twinings (usually subpar) does. So buy in bulk for the church or synagogue pantry, but not a cup to be savored.  Bewleys Bewley's Irish Breakfast Tea Loose Leaf 8.8oz (250g)

This is the Irish Breakfast Tea blend that is offered from Coffee Bean Direct now. I assumed the tea would be at least similar to their self branded blend that they offered before. This assumption was wrong. The tea is NOT an Irish Breakfast Tea blend too me as it is too weak. It is not even near to the other Irish Breakfast tea bleands I have had in the past even their own self branded tea had a bolder blend to it.The teas used to blend this are the traditional teas for an Irish Breakfast tea blend but this particular blend seems to have alot more ceylon than assam tea in it. This gives the blend more of a pekoe tea light flavor to it rather than a bold flavor expected of an Irish Breakfast tea. So if you are expecting a bold flavored Irish Brakfast tea in your cup then do not purchase this tea. If you want more of a Lipton brand loose leaf tea flavor then this tea will work perfectly for you.

It's not the finest tea, but you're not paying for the finest tea, either. All in all, it's a good value and makes a fine morning cup.

EXCELLENT IRISH BREAKFAST!

I LOVE this tea. It's deliciously warm and malty. Unfortunately there seems to be some difficulty with availability. Maybe that means my next Subscribe and Save delivery will be absolutely fresh... here's hoping
