Worked great for 20 minutes
This CPS worked fine at 1st, but after it warmed up it started too be intermittent. While driving down the highway my jeep would buck or jump as if the motor turned off and back on really fast. This would happen repeatedly for a few minutes and then be fine again for a while and then start screwing up again. Very frustrating, I had to get another one from a local store. After replacing it a 2nd time my jeep runs good. Made diagnosing my problem a pain because I already did it once and wasn't sure what to replace the 2nd time. Its also a pain in the butt to change.

Fixed my no start on 1995 ZJ
Had some stalling issues on my 1995 ZJ 4.0. Replaced the coil and the idle sensor with no results, but finally this crank sensor did the trick. Started right up. Part fits well but to get to it and change it? Good luck

Fits the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4×4 4.0L IL6
Worked. Installation a little tricky because of location on top of the transmission bell housing. Solved my stalling issue with the jeep.

You get what you pay for
My jeep did crank and stayed running. That's what it wouldn't do with the factory sensor. However it ran like crap. Smooth with the old one but it wouldn't run long, rough with the new one and it stayed running. So now I will buy a good one from the dealer.

Excellent value unless you're stuck!
The sensor wasn't the exact same as the original it was better. The price was excellent but it did take a while to get. That could be a problem because your vehicle isn't going anywhere without one.
