Bow & Arrow Neon Nylon Rope Slip Lead Dog Leash with Reflective Stitching, 5-Feet

This is a really nice slip lead. I love the orange and the reflective stitching is very nice. I also like the comfy grip on the loop you hold on to. It's a very nice slip lead if that's something you are looking for. I really liked the idea of picking this one because I knew that they were donating product to dog shelters for pups in need. I have purchased several items from Max and Neo because of this, even when they were a little more expensive than alternatives.I have only two very very minor complaints about this lead.1) We have other slip leads from our local trainer. The leads are very flexible, and a bit thinner. They can be used to loop the lead in a figure 8 shape and put it over their nose to gain more control and communication. I can't really do that with this lead I feel like, because it's much stiffer than the ones from our local trainer. So if I just need a nice looking lead for basic things, I use this one. If I need a lead to go over their nose for better training, I use my local trainer's leads. It's not a big deal though. Like I said, very minor and more personal preference than anything.2) The leather piece that is designed to prevent the loop from opening up more works decently, but is no perfect. I've had the ring slip over the leather piece a couple of times, which would allow the loop to open up. It's never been a problem for me but just something I've noticed. It's also not as quick to move up and down on the lead as my local trainer's leads, which uses a spring-loaded square plastic piece that keeps tension on the lead unless I open it up.Overall though I like this lead. Just know that it is stiffer than other leads (from what I have used anyway) I'll keep buying from Max and Neo whenever I can though to help support shelters.

I want to give this leash a 5 star, but I have one problem....I am an animal control officer, My other slip leashes keep the circle shape when I go to slip it over a dogs head. This one twists so when I go to tighten it, the dog slips out. It doesn't slide as quickly as I would like it too. Durability wise, its great. As an every day walker leash for a large dog its perfect, but for my line of work...that twist throws off my game. Im going to get it wet and hope I can get the kink out. I bought 2 of these and they both do the same thing...Hopefully I don't end up not using them. I love the colors, I got a pink and an orange one.Great for those night grabs I do. I wish it was just a tad longer...but I was aware of the length when I placed my order. As an every day leash for "normal" dogs, its great...For afraid dogs you are trying to bait into the leash with a snack....not so good.

Very nice. Not as super-duper sturdy as some other brands, but this is a great alternative for a better price. I primarily purchased it for the reflective detail, as we tend to take walks at dusk or after sundown. The leash is short--probably like 4 feet--but I prefer a short leash. My dog walks nicely but she can be stubborn if she decides she doesn't want to go in a direction you're going, and she will dig in her heels and refuse to budge... so often I have to pull her through it. I have not had any instance with the lead slipping, and I am pulling HARD. She is a 70-pound pit bull and very strong, but this leash keeps her tethered.

I bought this for my Alaskan Malamute and it works pretty well. The handle is soft and comfortable, and I love the little ring towards the handle that makes it so easy to hang on a hook. It's also very sturdy and can hold up to her strength. My only mild issue with this lead is that the loop doesn't tighten as well as I'd like it to when pulling, and sometimes I'm afraid she's going to slip out of it when she pulls backwards (though this won't be an issue as she ages and gets more training).

The quality of this leash is just fine. It feels solid and as though it would do it's job. However, when I was looking to purchase a 5' leash, my expectation is this wold be handle to collar length. By my measurements, even after fully retracting the slip section, this leash leaves me missing 4-6 inches. Disappointing.

Unfortunately, after the second time to use. It broke on me. I had high hopes for this product as I'm in rescue and use these alot.

Well made, comfortable in my hand, and nice reflective material that has a slight give to it, which I really like!

I bought a lightweight web style version of this for way less money but swapped out for these. The others were always tangled in knots.These are so great for quickly rounding up loose dogs in a hurry.
