HJCHelmets Cl-17 Chin Curtain 824-002

Fits fine & works well.I have been using this for a while, now. Not crazy happy with it. But, better than nothing! When I take my helmet off, I normally have to put 1 or 2 of the 3 clips back in. The light Velcro tabs that are supposed to adhere to the helmet cushions, didn't hold up long. They flap in the wind a little now. Which is annoying but, no big deal either. It does keep the wind from coming up & in turn reduces noise. Might be a better chin curtain out there. But, this is good for the money & does it's job.

Bought the CL17 Arica in red. No chin curtain came with helmet. I found that the wind that comes up from the exposed area is very distracting as well as cold since I’ve been riding all winter. This chin curtain properly stops any wind from entering from below as well as reducing noise. Small downside is that it makes the helmet difficult to put on and remove as it ends up scraping your face. Then the velcro doesn’t last long. But that isn’t really an issue because it still blocks out everything I need it to block out. Great product, just inherently cumbersome.

the clip-in design of the cl17 chin curtain is very inconvenient. The cl-16 had a chin curtain that I didn't think about once in 5 years, but with the new one, you have to put the helmet on, then the curtain with all 3 clips and the 2 velcro attachments. Then once you take the helmet off, the curtain has to come off first. To be fair, I have a large beard, but if i wanted uncumbersome wind protection for my neck, I would grow the beard out more.

This is a HORRIBLE chin curtain! Do not buy!Does not stay in place, scratched up my face with the scratchy Velcro side, the material itself is not much softer and also scratches your face while putting it on or taking it off. It has completely fallen off when taking my helmet off multiple times till I decided never to use this horrible product again!WTF, HJC? The one for the CL-16 was wonderful, why can't you just remake that one to fit the CL-17?!

Quality product. Install was easy and only regret is not buying it sooner

Just received this..put it on..goes on great..went for a two hour ride..iam impressed..it does keep out alot of wind..and noise...below 60..above...the helmet still leaks alot..cheap helmet..cheap chin curtain..overall...im happy

I tried the smaller version and hated it, this is far better for the money. The longer tabs with Velcro hold well and the deeper coverage really helps keep the wind out

The chin curtain works well at keeping the wind out of the helmet. It does make the helmet difficult to put on and take off.
