AT&T Netgear 7550 Wi-Fi DSL Internet Modem Wireless Router Gateway

We used this to replace an older AT&T router/modem from years ago. This one works beautifully, hasn’t had to be reset yet, and was set up with minimal difficulty. The instructions provided with it are pretty much dummy-proof. We did have to contact AT&T once to configure some settings on their end, which took about five minutes. It came with all the necessary equipment, and works great. Couldn’t ask for more!

The AT&T Netgear 7550 modem/router was a Frontier 3800 made by Netgear. It came with instructions to connect to Frontier DSL/WiFi not AT&T. I called the Tech Support number on the instruction and they said they did not support AT&T. Then I called AT&T Tech Support and they walked me through the correct connection instructions. I will give AT&T Tech Support a 5 star.The modem/router works well so far. The company selling this unit as a AT&T item should insure the correct connection instructions are included.

Everything was included in the original Netgear package. The initial purchaser had removed the network password from the modem and this required re-programming before connecting to the internet. I'm definitely pleased with the purchase.Frank W.

Product is faulty, and does not work! I AM BEYOND RETURN PERIOD BECAUSE i Ordered modem before signing up for ATT DSL, But technician has informend me it was a waist of money because the unit does not work... what a shame, use caution!!!

The setup was easy. The wifi has a reasonable range. It does what it's supposed to do. AT&T supports it. I wasted a lot of time trying to get a third party modem & router to work without success.

Easy setup, close to PnP. We did have to request a firmware update from AT&T. No big deal. A 15% savings vs buying it from service provider.

This gateway was not new, it was either used or refurbished. It continuously lost connection to the internet and had to be reset. When it is working the wireless has a poor range. I returned it........
