Great value tv
So got this on Saturday, so had 2 days use so far. And I can't fault it. For £400 it was excellent value. Took 5 mins to put stand on base and connect to WiFi. The picture is excellent, I don't use 4k so this isn't a problem for me. Super crisp fhd display. Sound is ace, read bad reviews saying it was awful bit I barely have volume turned up and it's more than loud enough for me.I don't use the inbuilt apps or anything as I stream everything through a Nvidia shield Pro.So the remote for that controls the tv also. Automatically turns onto the correct hdmi itself.Really nothing not to like but if you want 4k picture quality you need to spend far more than looking at a tv in this price range

Very good value for the money
I had to buy this at short notice when my TV packed up just before Christmas. I thought it might not be all that good, compared to some more expensive models. I was very pleasantly surprised. Picture quality is excellent, sound, too. Because of Bluetooth, I can also beam videos from my tablet to the TV and watch them on the big screen. So far, I've installed Pluto TV via the play store. There is a dedicated button for Netflix, YouTube and Google Play. It's slightly complicated to play from a USB drive. You have to scroll up and right to settings, then down to apps (NOT the apps heading at the top), then select Media Player. This works very well. Very pleased with the TV.

Not a Panasonic
Having always bought Sony or Panasonic TVs from all price ranges, I always felt Panasonic were slightly better for picture quality and sound quality, the main things I want in a TV over apps. This TV however is awful and it’s mainly due to the Android software which I’ve always found buggy on phones, unreliable and clunky. The OS is pretty slow, the backlight is too bright for white’s, they burn your eyes at night. Reduce it any further and then the overall colours become too low and hard to see. The ambient sensor should reduce the backlight at night but it doesn’t.The remote is awful, it feels cheap and clicky, the smooth rubber operation of the older backlit remotes has gone. It also stops working once every couple of weeks so I have to unplug the TV from the mains. Some apps including iPlayer have stopped working too. Voice assistant didn’t execute lots of commands like turn tv of in 5 minutes and now it doesn’t work at all.Avoid and go with a Sony. Worst TV I’ve had in last 20 years, picture quality is pretty below average standards and the OS is just so slow to do anything, coupled with the awful low quality remote, it’s a no go. It’s basically a large Android tablet with the worst 4K display you can find. These low end Panasonics are not even Panasonic as I’ve found out recently but rebranded generic budget TVs. There was a time when Panasonic was the best in the business and the extra cost was worth it. I’ll be going with a Sony TV next.

Great smart telly.
The TV failed after 24 hours but boy was I happy with it until then. The android system was a breeze, the picture and sound first class and at a good price, too. If you want to connect your phone to your TV I think this is a blast. I'd easily give it 5 stars but it failed?

Excellent and a bargain price
I was unsure after reading the other reviews, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the TV. It’s super simple to use and setup took minutes… I only use the smart settings, so can’t comment on TV guide etc.The picture is incredible and makes watching movies all the more enjoyable :)

Panasonic TV
Have bought this brand for years. Always the best. Quite expensive but well worth it when you consider it will 15-20 years . Couldn't be happier with TV

Terrible TV with endless issues. Avoid.
UPDATE: Downgraded to 1 star. After a few months of use the remote and TV guide are terrible. You constantly need to update to get any info in the guide and sometimes the remote won't switch it off. Then the only way is to unplug it. Plus live TV gets 'stuck' and goes out of sync with the sound. Other details below but wouldn't recommend at this price.OK so this isn't very cut and dry and as in the title I would give this TV 2.5 if I could and I'll explain why in detail below.DELIVERY:- The initial delivery didn't happen - the TV was dispatched then sat somewhere (Hermes), but to be fair to Amazon when I raised this they sent a replacement straight away - great customer service.FIRST IMPRESSIONS:- The item itself looks great straight out of the box. Slim, minimal border, lightweight and every easy to attach the stand with a screwdriver (it also has the option of wall mounting) so all good on that front.SETUP:- this was reasonably pain free except don't forget to bluetooth pair your remote! I didn't initially and it didn't work properly until I did. Despite this it was fairly quick to setup, get a channel list and start watching on a basic level. The setup guide on the TV itself is good but you also have a pretty comprehensive manual which comes with it. This is very much an Android/Smart TV and is geared up for that so for the best results you'll need to log into all your streaming Apps and download any as required (the usuals - Netflix, Iplayer, Amazon are all there already).PICTURE QUALITY:- This TV has 4K capabilities and can accept the normal HD channels - my old telly didn't have this. I have to admit the HD channels look great - super sharp picture and luckily not too 'unrealistic' as I've found sometimes with other TVs things can look odd if overly high definition. However the Standard Definition channels are POOR quality. I was shocked by this and thought maybe it was due to the comparison of HD and SD but no, the normal SD channels are grainy and actually look blurry at times, especially when compared to my previous 10 year old telly. Why is this? Is it due to the focus on HD and streaming service viewing? That's why I mentioned this is very much a Smart TV - all of the streaming services look excellent, it just doesn't seem to offer the same quality when watching normal SD freeview channels. This isn't a big problem for us as 90% of our viewing is done on Netflix etc but if you're buying this to watch basic freeview I really would avoid.SOUND: - is OK, but would definitely benefit from an external soundbar as it's a little tinny. I think this is a symptom of these super slims TVs these days.SMART FEATURES/REMOTE etc:- there are endless Apps and channels that can be added. I even found Sky Arts on freeview which we didn't have before. We don't use the voice activation on the remote but it's there if you need it. The remote is responsive and has lots of configuration options, but sadly going between sources isn't super smooth. Useful quick buttons for Netflix etcIn conclusion this TV has been made entirely for the Smart/HD TV generation. It has all the Apps and features but maybe the SD quality has been overlooked somewhat. This is a real shame at this price point as I'd expect everything to be top quality but if you're not bothered about watching Channel 5 you might be OK!Would recommend as an Android TV (which this is marketed as) but maybe not for normal terrestrial viewing.3.5 stars out of 5.
