Assimil Superpack Brazilian Portuguese (Book, 4 Cd's and CD MP3) 1st Edition

I am conversational bc of this program and I would never look back. There are instructions on how to approach. Here's what I jotted down for myself:1. listen to the recording without reading the lesson at all.2. read the lesson aloud in PORT3. listen to the recording again while reading the English text.4. read the lesson aloud in PORT5. listen to the recording again while reading the PORT text6. read the lesson aloud in PORT7. listen to the recording without looking at the text and repeat this until you understand everything that's being said and read the text aloud in PORT if you need to8. play the recording one last time and each sentence try and repeat what was said. if you don't remember it, play the sentence again. obviously do this without reading the texthope this helps =)

Loving the product so far. The CDs really help to improve pronunciation and are an absolute MUST. The book is good but not enough on its own.

I'm still on the beginning but so far I've been loving Assimil. Definitely worth it.

I assume Assimil being a European company assums that those that want to learn Brazilian Portuguese is for the purpose of traveling to Brazil. I would prefer everyday dialogues and everyday conversaion. There are many Brizialians here in the USA and I would like to engage in an friendly conversaion about life, instead of where is the library, the pharmacy or the museum.

I been planning to visit Brazil in the near future. This Assimil is great learning tool and I wish they have European Portuguese and that is different dialect much harder to learn. I love the assimil Brazilian Portuguese it’s fun and easy to learn.
