I just got this and used it to slice homemade bread, and it worked well and let me cut uniform slices, I also love that you can easily change the thickness.I really wanted the flexibility in slice size so it was perfect for me but it is probably not sturdy enough for everyday use or would need to be used very carefully

As I say, it really does work and the adjustable thickness function is nice. It's just a bit rickety and a little hard to hold on to if you are sawing through you artisanal whole grain breads. But it really does work and I have a good number of cooking do-dads made of this same ivory plastic that are decades old despite constant use. Just go ahead and get one. You know you want it.

I make homemade bread and, this doesn't work for me it needs to be a tad wider. Now for others it may work great. If I cut it in half then it works great. It's easy to clean and adjust to how thick or thin you want your slices. It's easy to store away and doesn't take up much space. Its a cute little device. I honestly like it but, I have to put in extra work before being able to use it. Good Value for those who have a smaller bread maker.

There's a flimsy U-shaped piece at the top of the device that serves some purpose. What it is, I'm not sure as it broke off immediately on first attempt of using it. I think it's supposed to create a gap at the top for you to easily slip in the bread knife. Even without it, it's still usable. But it's frustrating nonetheless that it broke off so easily. Very cheap but ultimately functional design. You can adjust the thickness of your bread slices and it does fold up nicely for storage. Depending on the width of your bread loaf, you may need to squish it in a bit to make it fit. It probably was only worth the price I paid for it, but ultimately wish I'd bought something a bit more sturdy/better designed. Overal a big fat "meh."

this is very cheaply made, the plastic parts do not align, making diagonal cuts, not a solid unit! free hand cutting was better than this

I make my own bread at home and this tool is perfect to be able to slice the bread easily, it has different sizes which makes it even better, easy to store

Got this to help slice more even slices of homemade bread. Seems to be doing it's job well.
