Does this jacket run bit large than usual? I am 193 centimeters and 88 kilograms. L should be fine with me but I'm afraid it will be to small.

Yes, it does run large, I ordered a 2XL which is what I wear in a t-shirt. The jacket was too big, so I exchanged it for an XL. Go one size down for a better fit.

is there a not so heavily insulated version of this....I track deer in the mountains of upstate NY ?

This is the only version of this jacket that we carry- and it is very warm! I don't think it would disappoint!
