I had a difficult time finding one of these brushes, so I decided to check out Amazon. I have thick curly hair and wanted to use this for when I straighten it. I am not a fan of straightening irons, so I was hoping this would be simpler. It sure is. I still have to section small portions, but as the hair goes through the brush, it straightens nicely. The only one thing keeping it from 5 stars is that my hair is easily tangled in the bristles. Perhaps if there were a bit less, it would be better, but a great product none the less.

This is the first styling brush I've used. I usually use a flat iron. The item came with a user's guide, but not a styling guide! It did a nice job, although I think my chin length hair may be too short to style in waves. I do like the heatproof wrap that it comes with. I may give this to my granddaughter whose wavy hair reaches the middle of her back! Looks like a nice product. It came with a cute little mirror as a bonus.

I'll be honest I didn't have high hopes. That's mostly because since having a baby my hair has completely changed and it's been a"mom bun" ever since. I'm talking TIGHT frizzy curls *only* at the roots of my hair and then straight. What a nightmare. So I tried this tool out and I'm actually impressed. No, it's not as easy as just brushing your hair - I don't think such a miracle do it yourself tool exists. I firmly held my hair and pressed the tool down onto my hair. This took a few sweeps through but I was able to get a good straighten out of it with a much bigger chunk of hair then I could ever do with a flat iron. It was actually faster then I though to get a decent look as well. But I'm saying this as a previously avid flat iron user, after every flat iron has failed me since my new post partum hair issues. I'd say overall easier to use then a flat iron, especially if it can handle what's my post partum disaster hair. I'm happy with this and could see myself using it as a go to hair tool.

I stopped straightening my hair since moving to Florida because of the humidity and heat, but I got tired of always having my hair in a bun after about 4 years of that...I bought this hoping it would make straightening my hair less arduous so I’d be more likely to want to do it.The first time I used it I was very happy to see how easy it was to use this and that it was much faster than my flat iron. Throughout the day I noticed my hair was shiny and full of life and it took longer for it to get oily enough to wash it. This is compared to the dry, stiff way my hair would end up after using my old flat iron, where my hair would get oily fast from having been dried out so much. Overall, I’m very happy with it and it definitely solved my problem.Lastly, I wanted to remark on the cool stuff you get with it. I thought it was a nice touch to add in hair clips so you can section your hair when straightening it, and I looooove the heat resistant glove. It’s surprisingly effective and makes straightening my hair easier and faster.

This item did not work I didn't like it and did niy get hot enough either. The concept and design seems OK just doest work

You can use it on dry hair and it doesn't dry your hair out! I've had curly hair all my life and I like it long, but to change my hair from curly to straight is not easy. I've used blow dryers which will leave it frizzy especially on humid days and I've used every form of tourmaline flat iron on the market. I must have a bag of 15 of them now in my storage shed. Those straighteners can leave my hair brittle if I straighten every day and as a result, it will break. I tried this product and loved how easy it is to use, how straight my hair got because it's actually a brush and best of all, my hair had that salon finish. It was a simple process, my hair didn't tangle in the brush and best of all, it didn't get that dry, brittle look like a flat iron gives you. I travel a lot and I love that I can throw it in the heat resistant case as soon as I'm done and take it with me. I've already recommended this product to my hair salon friends.

After purchaing this brush, I needed some help, and I was amazed with an immediate response and helpful service. Most important, when I became frustrated because i could not convert to a Celsius setting, I contacted the 6th Sense company and learned that the solution was simple;i.e., just hold down both temperature buttons for a few seconds, and the switch was made to Fahrenheit. All concerns and questions were answered in less than 24 hours- amazing! I use this brush daily to touch up my hair that has been flat ironed, especially saving time when I am traveling. Thus the carrying bag is a great plus, because i can pack my iron while it is still warm. The enclosed little double sided mirror is a nice addition for checking the back of my head. The brush is a little heavier than others, but maybe it will be more sturdy than the Magictec brush that zonked out after 6 months.Great to know that if I need help or have a problem with my new brush, I can depend on a speedy response by e-mailing [email protected].
