Met expectations! More light is what I needed and what I received. The lamps are sturdy, with the flexibly to adjust the smaller lights when I am reading. They love good with my decor in the family room. Thanks

After reading other reviews, I hesitated to purchase the lamp, thinking it was not of the quality I would expect. In the end, I did purchase and I'm glad I did. I found the quality to be consistent with higher priced products. The threads to connect the vertical rods were well machined and were over 1/2 inch, providing a ridged and sturday connection. The base is heavier than you would expect based on reading other reviews and is more than adequate to hold the lamp upright. The lamp was easy to assemble and the electrical components worked flawlessly. It is a good addition to my house.

CONS: • The reviews that say this can't stand up straight are 100% correct. Hands down. Yep. • It arrives packed in styrofoam that you *have* to bust open. And not the good kind that doesn't fly everywhere. Horrible mess potential. PROS: • Tall • Great for high-wattage equivalent LEDs (I used 150w-equivalent), because the main light is up high enough and upward facing, which keeps direct eye contact out of the equation, while the glass shades diffuse the light without dimming it • On/off knobs are easy to turn but not too easy (annoying hard to find at low price points sometimes), and the texture doesn't hurt one's fingers • If you can lean it against a wall, bookshelf, etc., you'll never notice that it can't stand on its own and it works great Overall, I'm very happy. It looks nice, the price was right, and it illuminates my living room pretty much by itself. But, yes, I have it cleverly positioned beside a doorway to lean it (1) against the wall and (2) around the doorway just slightly (the reading light), which keeps it upright.

Great little floor lamp. Got a 100w daylight bulb for the top and a 60w soft for the bottom. Lights up my room like daylight, or gives soft light for reading. Wish I'd have bought it sooner Edit: after buying 3 of these and running them for a while, I'm downgrading from 5 stars to 2. Every one of these lamps has fallen apart. First the threads eventually get wallowed out so the pieces cant tighten together. Then if the lamp happens to get knocked over, the pieces break very easily. Might be okay for a young adult moving into a new place, but if you have kids, especially toddlers, these lamps will turn junk within weeks. This has taught me not to be a cheapskate when it comes to lamps

Since it's a very inexpensive lamp, it isn't terribly sturdy but it doesn't have to be - it will always be in that one spot, and it's sturdy enough. It's very pretty with the white shade and the slim silver-colored stand, it looks better than the clunky black one that used to be there. Ii do a lot of reading and sewing, and the second lower lamp is invaluable, it's really handy. So far, I'm very happy with it.

I got a Phillips 3 way LED bulb for this lamp. It adds a tremendous amount of light to a dark area in my kitchen. That's what I was after. It was easy to put together. The wires run through the lamp sections. You start at the bottom and start screwing them together. The gooseneck lamp part is pre-attached. I don't think you can make a mistake (or I would have). I am old enough to remember the hefty floor lamps of yester year. This is not one. The base is weighted of course but the rest has been downsized to a ridiculous degree. I'd say the upright pipe is half inch, maybe 5/8". I tipped it to screw in the bulb and it was noticeably bent. It straightened out right away when I stood it up. I'm sure its strong enough for what I need but kids and dogs could cause a problem. I got it for a bargain price and it is a bargain lamp. It makes my house much better though and for that I am happy.

This lamp is low priced for a very good reason. It isn't even worth what is charged for it. Assembly is required - there are several tubular sections (approximately 1/2" diameter) that must be screwed together. The sections have the wiring inside, and there is an excess of wire. It was very difficult for me to assemble, I had to have my wife hold part of it in order to assemble it. However, on my lamp, one of the sections had only about 1/8" of threads, and they were stripped, so the two sections could not be put together the way it was intended. I first tried to super glue the sections together - no luck. I then used strapping tape to put the sections together - still no luck. Finally, I taped a large paint-can stir-stick onto the sections to act as a splint. Even though the splint does hold it together, the lamp is an inferior product, and the upright pole that holds the lamps is not of sufficient strength to stand completely vertical. Because of the new way that Amazon is handling returns (UPS must print the return label, after you provide the code that Amazon sends you), and the fact that taking apart what I had assembled was a real pain, returning the product would have been a great hassle. We do not have an UPS Store close by, and the regional shipping location for UPS would not print the label, so I would have had to drive 45 miles to the nearest UPS store. What a pain! This is what I had to do for a previous return last week. Eventually I was able to find a UPS driver who helped by getting the label printed, and he came to my house to pick up the package. So with all these considerations I did what I could to use the thing. It took both my wife and myself almost an hour to assemble this lamp, so I'm keeping it. Fortunately it is in a location in the house where its appearance doesn't matter. The bottom line is don't waste your money.

I had to replace a similar design when it got old enough that the Plastic became very brittle. I don't know why, but my daughter's cat is fascinated with the base. He would knock it over on the bed a sit and smell the base. I'd run him off and stand it up, just to find it knocked over on the bed again later. The problem is that after several such incidents, I noted that one of the joints was kinked and noticeably weakened. Another encounter or two with the cat and I won't be surprised if it breaks.

Is it true assemble really nice over all good lamp

I was expecting something thin, light and flimsy for the price, but desperatly needed a lamp. What I got was way above my expectations, this is actually a pretty sturdy lamp with a real heavy base. The only plastic is the shades, which, if you have hyper pets like me, (or kids alternatively) it getting knocked over means it wont smash which is reassuring. Didn't need to look at instructions, it was super easy to put together. Whenever I walk past it I keep thinking I got a brand new lamp for yard sale prices.

Gran relación precio vs producto/calidad. Tenía tiempo buscando una lámpara así. No incluye focos. Es muy fácil de armar y los materiales de buena calidad. Los reflectores son de plástico aunque dan la apariencia de cristal. La recomiendo mucho.

The lamp was easy to assemble and is actually great for the price and doesn’t heat up. I used some LED bulbs in mine and it works great. The one thing is that it isn’t that sturdy and I wouldn’t recommend moving it often because then it would start to lean over more and more. Overall a good product.
