Memorex MD6461 Portable CD Player, 60 Second Skip Protection, Includes Stereo Earbuds, Black/Silver

Works great, never skips, volume goes up high, nice look. I use it at the gym every night to play my CDs, one of the best portable CD players I've used. (Over the years, I've bought many different CD players, because I'm always at the gym, so they get dirty after a while, so I buy a new one every year...).

I got this for my mom as she can only listen to audio books as her eyesight is very poor. The problem with these players is that they simply don't last, but I'm trying again with this Memorex model. The cover is really cheap, so I suspect that with one drop, I'll be buying another, but we'll see. Also, the battery cover is really difficult for her to remove. All in all, she's coping with it, and it's nice that the buttons are raised so she can feel them.

this is a nice cd player. uses double AA batteries. you can play, forward or backward on tracks. the button to push the cover up is not a big lift up & I have to use my finger to lift up all the way. less skipping compared to other players I have had. the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't remember what track you are on if you stop playing. it just goes back to the first track.

The audio sounds good and it's a nice throwback product with easy-to-use controls, but the first second of each song seems to get cut off, no matter which CD. Nice product aside from that.

ABSOLUTE TRASH. I ordered THREE of these to use in my classroom. Not even ONE worked. One had a broken lid latch which wouldn’t allow it to play, one would not recognize ANY cd, and the other one has a broken switch on the side and does not work. I am so disgusted that out of THREE products, not even ONE worked! I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer for years, but if this is the kind of garbage they’re dealing in, I’M DONE!

Perfect sound quality is great just understand that you must have an external speaker to work

I really want to like this player -- the sound is fine and it gives me the vibe of my dear departed old-school Sony Discman, but this thing cuts off the first second of every song. One would think that a device whose only design is to play music would, you know, play ALL of the music on a disc. Disappointed.

This CD player is the perfect size to carry with me. It has great sound and is not bad with batteries.

I purchased it so I could listen to music on my walks. Good quality of sound. Easy to use. Does not skip at all when I am walking. A little bulky though for a pocket.
