Very very good
Really wasn’t expecting much from this so I was pleasantly surprised. The game looks great visually. It’s got actual good jump scares! And a good engrossing story. Kept me glued from start to finish which I can’t say most horror games of this type do. The edition I bought also had a little book and few creepy photos. I would highly recommend this game.

Stocking filler
This game is creepy, if you love horror games then you have to play this. The puzzles are a bit tricky and frustrating but worth it!

Engaging
Engaging horror that grips you right from the start.Plot:You’re Luca, a 16 year old boy who has woken up with a massive headache in his granddad’s old house not long after his granddad has died: at the locked door of the room he’s awakened in, his father is screaming at him and banging from the other side and he sounds demented. Luca doesn’t know what is happening so he escapes through the wall into another part of the house and becomes trapped there, unable to escape. With an old Polaroid camera (a birthday gift), Luca must go from room to room in his granddad’s labyrinth-like house unlocking doors and trying to piece together clues and puzzles that will let him open other rooms and potentially escape. He senses he’s not alone, the house is making strange sounds, doors are opening and shutting on their own and his camera seems cursed as some of the photos it takes aren’t showing what he’s seeing. He soon learns that the house has an odd history and there are clues everywhere about ghastly murders committed in the late 1980’s, and that his grandmother who was going blind felt haunted in that house. He has to piece everything together and find an escape before whatever stalks him finally catches up.My Thoughts:The game is a classic point and click adventure type game, with long winding corridors swathed in deep shadows and flickering lights, ambient music and sounds add to the definite atmosphere of not knowing what might pop out at you, keeping you on edge. You’ll find occasionally that you see something out of the corner of a wall, or that something might have moved, a door may shut itself, or some things seem to “follow you”. Sometimes things happen so fast you barely know what you’ve seen. The story is very good but I feel like you need to at least play it twice to get a sense of what really happened. The game is linear and there isn’t any real way to deviate from the story in any way, there isn’t any alternative endings (I’ve heard a rumoured one exists but so far cannot find proof). The jump scares definitely exist and often, catch you when you’ve just started to get a false sense of security. The story is very good but the ending feels a little lacklustre (especially on first play through). Some of the puzzles are a bit tricky at first - take your time, observe your surroundings, try everything. Just wander around, sometimes all it takes is wandering and taking photos to find something new or open a door.Definitely a great name and would buy another from this developer. They sure know how to craft a horror and suspense game well.
