Collections Etc Dachshund With Butterfly Stone-Look Sculpted Garden Planter, Grey

It's not bad and I like the Dachshund, but I think it would have been better off without the butterfly. It doesn't come attached for one thing, but what you can't see in the product picture is that there is a spring attached to the nose that the butterfly is supposed to be resting on. I don't care for the look of the spring and if you were to place it as pictured, the other side would have the spring plainly visible. You can't remove the spring as it's drilled into the nose. I'd be afraid it would break if I tried to pull it out. I'm not sure why they chose to use a spring. I assume maybe to allow the butterfly to wave in the breeze, but the spring is so stiff I don't think that's possible. It's not exactly tiny either so it's pretty noticeable. The planter is also a bit small so whatever plant you put in there is going to have to be pretty small too. To be fair, they do list the measurements, it just seems smaller in person than what I imagined it would be.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom, who is a dachshund lover and enjoys gardening. As expected, she loved this. I'm a little disappointed that the butterfly isn't standing straight up on the nose but is rather on a spring and can't be adjusted easily. Overall though, it looks nice and it made my mom happy.

We used this as a memorial for our beloved dachshund. It came just as pictured and the butterfly was attached. The butterfly bounces on a little spring and my son loved it. It's a great tribute to our dog Puddin what we see when we come home now that he isn't there to greet us. It fit one small potted flower plant which looks amazing. Great value especially for this price!

I got this planter to memorialize my dachshund. The actual pocket for plants is very small. You have to find very small plants or plant your own seeds if you are planning on using this for flowers. Very cute and a wonderful memory for my boy in doggie heaven.

So cute! We are a dachshund family and I bought it to add to our front porch decorating. It's the perfect size for a small succulent, anything larger wouldn't have enough room for the root system. It's adorable and a lovely addition to our home.

Very small, not able to plant much in here, but it is cute. Just pay attention to dimensions. Also, I had to drill a hole in mine for drainage, as mine didnt have a hole.

Thought dog would be dark brown and not a planter.
