Hasegawa 1/72 F-16A Plus Fighting Falcon

A very good model for a intermediate level and the scale is good for collect.

This is a fantastic kit for $12. Good fitment, build quality and detail; engraved panel lines. This F-16 has some quite small fins on the nose for electronics - and the flashing is quite heavy in these areas so these delicate areas will require great care when cleaning up. Especially for the price, if you're looking for a solid kit to play on, I don't think you could ask for much better unless you're looking for specific details that aren't on this vehicle version.

Great for the kids to build. Tricky but something better than glued to a screen

Not 1/72 scale. I had to trim so much excess plastic off of the parts that most of them turned out bad. I had to use an entire bottle of superglue to get these pieces to stick together. Very poorly put together kit. The left wing pitches higher than the right wing because the plastic is deformed.. really sad how this plane turned out as I was excited to add it to my collection.

Nothing too fancy about this F-16. I bought it so I could use some of my fancy decals I had leftover from other kits, so it's a good base platform if you want to do something fancy. Integrates well with other kits, as I converted this F-16 to a Wild Weasel version, able to put on HARMs and ECM pods (not included in this kit). Recessed panel lines, single mold canopy, all good standard stuff. Durability is low, because it's not meant to be durable...it's not a toy!

Such a fantastic piece especially when finished, I highly recommend this for someone just getting into the scale hobby because it really teaches you patience and the outcome at the end makes you want to show the whole town of how crazy and small it is. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tough and you’re gonna want to take your time, believe me, you WANT to take your time. I really suggest having all your tools and paint ready at the go. Overall great product and you just keeping going on from there.

A pretty good kit at a decent price. This was the first Hasegawa kit I've purchased, and I'm definitely not disappointed. The fit is fairly good, and only required a small amount of filler and sanding - mostly at the intake area and where tail section attaches to the rear of the plane. Otherwise, the fit is excellent. Detail is a little lacking, especially inside of the cockpit, but this is a somewhat small scale, and for the price, I really didn't expect much more detail. I'm sure there are after-market detail kits available, so if you want to super-detail, then definitely go this route. I was looking for something more casual, to experiment with some new painting schemes, and didn't want to spend a lot of money . . . so this kit fit the bill perfectly.
