IEKOV 16.4ft/5m, Warm White

Light Strip is excellent, even light, and good quality. I'm using SMD2835 and SMD5050 light strips and aluminum channel housing elsewhere on my property, and wanted to see if these could substitute for my current solution (at another property), as they are 1/2 the price given I would not have to purchase any housings. However, they are not nearly as bright, and the RF remote is very weak, with only a 10'-12', obstruction free, distance from remote to receiver. I can see they would be a fantastic Neon Sign alternative, and that's how they are marketed. I will use them as low key, mood lights underneath a deck railing, as they are not bright enough for task lighting or wall washing.

This is a great light strip which I use as under bar lighting on a BBQ island. While the strip itself is waterproof-ish the controller unit certainly is not. So while the strip can be exposed []under the bar] the controller box must be inside the structure [island]. This is a problem because there is only about 4" of wire from the box to the strip so if you dont have an access box right where the strip starts you are going to have to extend the wire. I spliced on about 4 ft of wire to run through the island to where a cabinet with access was especially as I'm pretty sure this component will be the first to die. As I didn't really want blinking lights anyway [this is the white only one] and goes to a switched outlet I considered skipping the box altogether but was not sure if this was possible, so decided to wait for the box to die first and then try.For the price this was a great solution for me but be aware you may have to modify the wiring.

Don’t buy this product. I’m convinced that a majority of the reviews written are fake because this product is poorly made. The cord of lights comes with metal brackets and small screws divers for you to install into the wall. The brackets have half bored through holes for the screw drivers. (You cannot get the screw drivers through them). The screw drivers themselves are so cheaply made and tiny they are impossible to place into the brackets let alone the wall with a screwdriver. This doesn’t even have instructions for installation. Overpriced, cheaply made and a bad product overall.

I use this all the time. Very even light along the whole strip. I would purchase more.

Quality seems very nice. Solid build. I have installed in to the roof of a shed in the back yard to give landscape light effect to the shed. I had to bend the string quite a bit. And it took a bit of a beating with a hammer when I was installing it using cable staples to the shed roof and the light shows no sign of an issue.The affect is very close to neon lighting. I have the intensity turned down about half way and the strip is recessed in to the roof so that none of the strip is directly visible to the eye. Just the reflected glow of the light is what is visible to the eye. And that glow is very nice in a neon sort of way. I can also see how using the light strip in a directly visible application would be effective too.The soft white version does come with a remote. so I assume all the non RGB ones do as well. The items included when shipped did not mention the remote, just the light strip and channeling and LED controller. But there is a remote, which does power on/off, intensity adjustments and frequency and basic timer shutoff times.
