The Marmot mitts are warmer than I expected. At -5 F my hands are almost sweating. I never had that warmth before.

I bought these as a gift for my father in north west North Dakota. He constantly had cold hands in winter and was always complaining about it so I went online and tried to look up the warmest gloves I could find. Every review I read said these were as warm or warmer than gloves in the same price range on up to gloves several times more in price. I have a down winter sleeping bag from the same company for camping in winter here in Montana so I know this company knows how to make warm gear. I bought these based on the online reviews on various sites and my own experiences with this companies gear. My Dad has been ecstatic about them. They have become about his most favorite thing in the world and they go with him everywhere now in winter. He says even at -40 with the wind howling there in North Dakota his hands stay nice and warm. I am very pleased with these gloves and how they are working for him.

Moved from the southern US to the Northern US and wanted to continue bike commuting. Struggled for two years trying to keep my fingers warm while trying various gloves. This product has saved my fingers and my hands actually sweat in temps below twenty while bicycling to work in arctic cold. Over thirty degrees, these gloves are too warm if exercising.

It has been a long cold winter in the Northeast, and keeping one's hands warm is very difficult. These mittens have performed great. Able to take long walks in zero weather without freezing fingers. Worth the money.

as expected

bought these for a trip to Iceland based on reviews I had read. The reviews were right, these mittens are superb. Despite some pretty bad weather, i never felt any cold in my hands with these on. Had a lot of rain and they aslo kept the water out. Not cheap, but worth every penny for me.
