Being gluten challenged, I make my own bread and use a lot of yeast. This yeast works really well. The price is much lower than my local grocery stores. The expiration date gives me years to use it, a plus. It's packaged to last, with a good seal. Dough rises well, a necessity when making gluten free bread.

I love buying my yeast in this larger quantity. I keep it in the refrigerator unopened until ready to use. I believe it is a much more reasonable price purchasing it like this rather than those small individual jars. I’ve had no problem with the “rise“ of my bread and therefore I would highly encourage anyone that makes yeast products/recipes.

Don't buy this at wal ****... that small jar there is $5.00 plus..this nearly fills a quart jar and you can put in refrigerator
