Q: Would this be too warm at the end of April?

It is a very warm cover but where I live, April is still pretty cold, like 40's-50's so I'll be using then. If it's warmer than that I wouldn't really recommend using it because it keeps baby pretty warm.

Q: Does this fit the cybex cloud q?

This will fit most infant carriers or standard sized strollers

Q: Does it needs to be washed before use?

I recommend to wash the item before use as babies skins are sensitive and you want to avoid any issues. Make sure to hang to dry after every wash.
