So much to love about this lotion!First, the smell is amazing. I got the classic scent. It smells clean and not overpowering at all. My wife is sensitive to smells (and I love smelling good), so it was wonderful when she told me that it didn’t affect her and that it was a fairly neutral scent (which is why I annoyed the one with sandalwood).Next, it feels great. It is a little thicker than many lotions, but it provides good coverage and excellent smoothness. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy.Lastly, it is important for me to limit parabens and phthalates wherever I can. The only p-word this lotion has is the PETA seal of approval! So, you can feel good about buying a product that makes your skin feel good!

Not as good as Averno but at least there’s no estrogen!

I love this lotion! The santal is a luxuriously lovely fragrance and the lotion absorbs nicely without leaving a residue. Decided to order the Marlowe shower gel in santal after finding out how great this lotions smells.

Long lasting scent. If you love Tom Ford Santal Blush then you'll love this one too. Paired with both smells amazing. Appreance is very chic. Does not leave a sticky residue. Worth the money. Easy application and easy directions. The quality makes you want more. Made my skin soft and smell good. Good enough for compliments.

We love the Marlowe soaps and body wash but have not had a great experience with the body lotion. The texture and smell are fine but lasting power is weak. Also, the pump applicator is HORRIFIC. Someone at Marlowe needs to take a 002 home a try it. Half through your shaking the container.

it just right for dry skin

The lotion is great for your skin and has a nice scent. The main problem is the packaging. The pump is literally a pos. It took almost 10 minutes to get anything through tube and out the nozzle. Shaking it, taking the pump out and reseating it does nothing. The worst part is after you use 2/3 of the bottle the pump ceases to work. At that point you have to unscrew the pump and start squeezing it out manually. I’ve actually talked to a Marlowe product specialist who said that the formula is so thick that’s what happens. No more for me this last purchase is just that—my last. I’m sure there are equal or better men’s skin lotion that uses better packaging.
