Very resonantly priced thumb indicator.
Nothing fancy just needed a non mar for steel and to keep my transfer punches from blooming. Handle appears to be quality wood but quite thin to the point I’m hesitant to swing with full force. I’ll be using this more days than not, so I’ll update my rating if I don’t have to replace the handle in 6 months.

Brass Ball Peen Hammer
The hammer head is okay for quality, it has a really poorly designed handle. I do like wood handles but this one is cheap and far to small in diameter to be effective.

Using it on ball joints.
Easier on the steering and suspension parts because less likely to damage any thing. In my case I’ll be using it to bang on and around removing ball joints on my Dodge 2500 diesel pickup truck instead of a steel ball pien hammer.
