Avène Cold Cream Concentrated Hand Cream, Quick Absorbing for Dry, Chapped Hands, 1.6 Oz

I have never used hand lotion consistently because I don’t like the greasy film it leaves behind. As I’ve gotten older, it’s much easier to see how parched my hands have become. During the earliest months of the pandemic my hands became uncomfortably dry due to frequent handwashing — my fingertips felt “raspy,” if that makes any sense — and my hands seemed to me much older than their actual age. This Avène “cold cream” hand lotion is amazing! It’s hypoallergenic and not greasy at all. I squeeze the tiniest amount onto the back of one hand, and it’s enough to coat both hands completely. For less than a minute both hands are a little bit tacky as the lotion absorbs. It absorbs quickly and completely, and hands immediately feel smooth and soft. The fragrance starts out oppressively strong, but as it fades it becomes tolerable. Overall it’s a very pleasant experience! I like this brand well enough, but this is the first Avène product I’ve tried that I’d designate a “must have.” I bought the 1.6oz, but I wish I’d purchased jumbo tubes to put next to every sink in my house. I’m going to try to use this after every (!) handwashing.

Excellent hand cream! It absorbs quickly, leaves no greasy feeling, and keeps my hands soft and hydrated for hours. I highly recommend it—definitely worth buying!

As a research scientist, I'm constantly washing my hands, leaving me with rather dry and irritated skin. I've tried numerous lotions, from prescription to drugstore brand, all with varying results. Avene Cold Cream has become my go-to lotion over the past year, and with good reason. The lotion is extremely quick to absorb (sometimes a bit too quick) and does so completely, leaving no residue. It has a light but somewhat pleasant smell, and a thicker consistency. A dime size drop is more than enough to coat your entire hands, and as such, a bottle tends to last a while, helping to alleviate it's higher price. It lasts a few hand washings, though I try to reapply after every time I wash.

I bought this hand cream originally on our trip to Japan. With my career I am constantly washing my hands and they always feel dry. This cream is very moisturizing and love it. I just wish I could find the bigger size

Super moisturizing hand cream it makes my hands look nicer and makes them feel softer it doesn’t feel greasy or anything like that. the only thing is that I don’t like the smell but it’s not very strong and goes away after a couple of minutes

I used a couple of other Avene creams, but none of them were so fragrant like this one. It's quite intense, to where it makes my eye water. I would not recommend.

Got this cream in Paris for the first time and it was exactly what I needed for my dry hands. Super absorbent, makes my hands soft right away! Love the product but it’s pricey.

I can’t stand the scent of this. It’s a very strong, heavy, floral scent. And not a good floral scent. Like dead flowers that are still around that someone keeps drenching in a terrible combination of old perfume and cologne. And it is the least effective hand cream I’ve ever used. Pretty ironic considering the description says it’s suppose to last through 5 hand washings. I can’t even make it to the next hand washing (and I wash my hands a TON) without my hands feeling dry again. Really bummed I wasted $15 on this and Amazon won’t let me return it. It’s going in the trash.

Han cambiado algún ingrediente, no es tan bueno . Lo vengo utilizando desde hace tiempo y este último es diferente.

Algo extraño pasa con mis manos, sufro de resequedad exagerada, en invierno hasta me sangran y he probado muchísimas cremas. Esta es la única que me funciona. La super recomiendo.
