I love this thing, it works with any length to the same 12v battery.

Very adaptable light
Works like I thought. Clip and solder, add the bolts and youโre good. Iโm using it for a third brake light on an antique VW.

Really bright at night and highly reflective during the day on my gate easy to install works great.

NO ADHESIVE - Returning now.
Light seemed nice and I was looking forward to installing them but the adhesive on EVERY roll I ordered (4) was backwards. Tape peels off fine but the sticky side is what peeled off. The light had NO adhesive backing and therefore no way to be installed. Returning now.

The current/amps draw is roughly .07amps at .8 watts for per 100mm. First photo is 100mm strip. Second is the remaining 4,900mm (4.9M). Total current/amps draw is 1.94amps at 23.2 watts. This makes it 4.64 watts per meter instead of the 12 watts per meter as their data sheet specifies. Recommend.

Not for me
I thought these we actual red LEDs, they arenโt, they are white LEDs but have a strip of red plastic over them. I sent them back because I was looking for actual red LEDs. They were nice and functional, just not for me.
