Itty Bitty Book Light Replacement Bulbs, 2 bulbs/pkg

I like the Itty Bitty Book Light and the bulbs because I can then read long into the night without disturbing my husband after we have turned in for the night. The replacement bulbs are a tad on the expensive side, but so well worth it to be able to continue using the book light. I do wish the bulbs lasted a bit longer and it would be nice if they did not get dim because of turning a darkish blue color after they are on for a while. Having a bright light is better for your eyes, and one can direct the book light so it shines directly on the book so that the light does not bother anyone else's sleep.

I've been using these book lights for years and years - at home, in the car, on a houseboat...I absolutely love them. However, as much as I love them, I also hate the bulbs!! They are so nice and bright and easy to read by when you first put one in the light. So perfect!Then, within a week (I use mine for about 2 hours every night) the bulb starts turning darker and darker and the effective light is dimmer and dimmer until I have to replace the bulb before it even burns out!!!! That ticks me off. I have tried every single book light on the market that I could find - none of them compare to this one. It really irritates me to have to buy 6 pkgs of these at a time because they can't be found locally and they dim so fast.I've written to Zelco and begged them to address the issue - har har, good luck with that! I'm just glad that I can at least buy the replacement bulbs on amazon.Oh, I also tried some of the other suggestions in the reviews ie, buying from Radio Shack (different wattage, voltage, etc.) but it doesn't help me because those always seem really dim right away...so, today I am buying more bulbs! What a sucker, huh?

I like my Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light. I've had it for years as a music stand light. I'm not ready to yet drag my iPad out for my music sheets. I wasn't sure where I could find replacement bulbs.....I should have thought "Awazon" in the first place.Great service and quick delivery....that's what's it's all about. And the bulbs? Yep, they light up. Not sure what else they are supposed to do.

I ordered two packages of these bulbs and they are slightly shorter than the original burned out bulb. This has never happened before and they won't work in the Itty Bitty Book light I have. I don't know whether to order the less ).Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light Replacement Bulbs, Set of 2

These are great when they start out, but they get dim as you use them. They are not worth the price since they don't last very long. Thankfully, I now have a Kindle and use a 'Kandle' Love the Kindle, but the batteries for the light do the same thing as the bulbs for the 'itty bitty' light. The difference is, they aren't as costly!

The bulbs work great and last for several books. I can read without disturbing my wife. They are not inexpensive.

I am a night reader and a book light is essential because I regularly read my books in bed. Nothing annoys me more than having to stop reading (in bed) because the bulb quit. Purchasing these Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light Replacement Bulbs was essential when I ordered my new Itty Bitty Book Light this summer. The light and bulbs go with me, and my BOOK, wherever I travel. This makes me happy.
