My itty bitty book lamp. I love to read at night when the world is dark and quiet with my book lamp to read by a favorite book...

I like the Itty Bitty Book Light and the bulbs because I can then read long into the night without disturbing my husband after we have turned in for the night. The replacement bulbs are a tad on the expensive side, but so well worth it to be able to continue using the book light. I do wish the bulbs lasted a bit longer and it would be nice if they did not get dim because of turning a darkish blue color after they are on for a while. Having a bright light is better for your eyes, and one can direct the book light so it shines directly on the book so that the light does not bother anyone else's sleep.

I've been using an Itty Bitty Book Light for more years that I care to remember (probably close to 20). I've had numerous lights that have been replaced for a variety of reasons, usually the insulation on the wiring where the cord attaches to the base wears away and the thing shorts out, but sometimes it gets <cough, cough> stepped on.As you can imagine, I've been through a LOT of replacement bulbs over the years, too. The bulbs work fine. As other reviewers have said, as the bulb is used, the light does become dimmer and more yellow. I haven't found this to be too much of a problem. When they get too dim, I just replace them.So why only three stars? Because Amazon's product page is confusing. These light bulbs come in a blister pack of two bulbs. (With me so far?) The "title" of the page is "Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light Replacement Bulbs, Set of 2," which implies that you're buying 2 light bulbs for $14.99. But, wait!! Just below that is the unit price of "($7.50/package)", which indicates that you would get 2 packages, for a total of 4 bulbs.I have been round and round with Amazon Customer Service about this with my last two orders. $14.99 for two bulbs is absolutely overpriced. They can be ordered from several other online sources for even less than $7.50/pkg. Amazon has changed the Product Description to indicate that what they are selling is two bulbs in one package. When they get their act together and change the pricing at the top of the page, I'll come back and edit the review and give this product the 5 stars I think it deserves.

I like my Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light. I've had it for years as a music stand light. I'm not ready to yet drag my iPad out for my music sheets. I wasn't sure where I could find replacement bulbs.....I should have thought "Awazon" in the first place.Great service and quick delivery....that's what's it's all about. And the bulbs? Yep, they light up. Not sure what else they are supposed to do.

I am a night reader and a book light is essential because I regularly read my books in bed. Nothing annoys me more than having to stop reading (in bed) because the bulb quit. Purchasing these Zelco Itty Bitty Book Light Replacement Bulbs was essential when I ordered my new Itty Bitty Book Light this summer. The light and bulbs go with me, and my BOOK, wherever I travel. This makes me happy.

I read reviews of this and assumed that it was at least 2 two-packs and was mislabeled. NO. It is only one pack of 2 bulbs for $46! And it looks like an old pack - bent cardboard. Maybe been around since the 1994 copyright date. Sad and ridiculous!

These are great when they start out, but they get dim as you use them. They are not worth the price since they don't last very long. Thankfully, I now have a Kindle and use a 'Kandle' Love the Kindle, but the batteries for the light do the same thing as the bulbs for the 'itty bitty' light. The difference is, they aren't as costly!

The bulbs work great and last for several books. I can read without disturbing my wife. They are not inexpensive.
