It works!!
After my cobbler said it would cost $75 to put suede on the bottoms of my size 8.5 sneakers, so I could use them for salsa & bachata, I decided to try this product and do it myself. The suede is very thick and of great quality. The adhesive is super sticky so take your time when you apply. It wasn’t difficult to do. My measurement was a little off on the side so I used an exacto knife to trim the excess. They look great!**NOTE: I traced the soles of my shoes and cut the suede with a sturdy scissor. I had considered using an exacto knife from the start but decided against it and am very glad I used a scissor. The glue is VERY sticky. While the knife worked great to trim up a small area, it was difficult to pull it thru the adhesive.

Convert your favorite shoes to dance shoes
Great for converting your own shoes to dance shoes. I do primarily swing dancing, and although I've also spent my share of $$ on dance shoes, sometimes I just want to be able to dance in a fun pair of sneakers or that perfectly fitting pair of dress shoes that I found in a shop somewhere. This is easy and economical and holds up really well to hours of dancing. I also like the variety of colors available, to be able to match the suede to the shoe.

Did the trick for one evening of dancing
With two days to go before a 20s dance event, I remembered that the shoes I wanted to wear had very, very unslippery treads on the bottoms, which would not work with trying to do the Charleston. I had planned to try duct tape or masking tape, but I know from experience that doesn't work so well. Searching on Amazon came up with this product. My order arrived in two days. With everything thing else I had going on, I literally left it until the last 10 minutes to try the shoe suede. I quickly sprayed and wiped off the soles of the shoes (no wire brush available) with cleaner. I traced the rough size needed and cut out two ovals. I adhered them as instructed, hoping I didn't have the rare kind of sole that it doesn't stick to. I tested it a little bit, crossed my fingers and went out. I wore the shoes for over 4 hours, and danced for at least 2, and the soles stayed on the entire time without moving. They provided just the right amount of glide without being dangerously slippery. This was not on a studio-quality hardwood floor. It was a typical tile museum floor. By cutting only the oval size I needed, I should be able to use this sheet for several pair of shoes, so I hope to cost-effectively use this sheet. Two drawbacks are the moderate odor of this sheet (it is suede after all) before you put it on your shoes, and the cost. Half or 2/3 the cost of this sheet would be more acceptable for just one IMO. I don't wear these shoes for dancing very often, so I probably won't be able to comment on how long the suede stays on or lasts, but one night was what I needed. I can't say about this particular product, I see no reason right now why it wouldn't, but I don't really expect anything DIY to be able to last on the bottom of a pair of shoes - I would be very impressed if this lasted longer than a few wearings with repeated dancing. I'll update if there are any changes to my review.

Easy movement
At my age I need shoes with plenty of support and cushioning. I’m able to cut out pieces that fit my shoes so I’m comfortable. Works great! I do use extra glue if the shoe has a sole like a tennis shoe.

A necessity if you are a dancer
Been using these stick on soles for years at dance. Make any good fitting athletic shoe a "dance shoe'. I have wide feet so cannot find any real dance shoe that fits. But my New Balance 460s are jut about perfect when you add these soles. You do have to find tennies with relatively 'flat' bottomes, which is a bit of a challenge. One caution, do not wear outside and NEVER on hot ashfault or they are immediately ruined when the tar gets in the suede.

Great product, great customer service!
I love this product, it really worked like a charm on my slippery character shoes. They were not difficult for me to apply, even on a last minute 1:00 am first-time attempt! I really recommend making a paper pattern of your shoe, rather than just tracing onto the suede though. The first shoe I just traced, and it worked fine, but it was a little hard to trace the arch of the shoe. The second shoe, I made a pattern, and that shoe came out cobbler perfect. On the first shoe, the edges were slightly rougher, but not enough to make even a perfectionist like me re do it ;) I followed the instructions to wear them a little and put weight on the new sole, and they held up perfectly to 4 hours of vigorous contra dance the next day. They really look great, too - just like a new fresh pair of shoes :) These character shoes had been sitting on my shelf since my first sad time of trying to dance in them, the slick sole was downright hazardous to my health! Now, with my new suede soles, they are perfect. I saved the pattern so I am good to go whenever I need to replace the sole. I bought the 3-pack, since it was such a better deal financially, and I have a great note about the seller. When my order promptly arrived, I was dismayed to see only 2 sheets of suede in the pack marked 3 pack. I had a sinking feeling, since the company would really just have to take my word on it, and I had waited several weeks before I opened the pack. To my great pleasure, the owner answered my email the very same day apologizing for the error, and said she would replace it. I received the missing sheet of suede in the mail a few days later. I was so pleased with how simple and perfect this stick on suede worked I would have favorably reviewed it anyway, but the customer service I received was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Works, but not perfect
I bought these for dancing. They're easy enough to cut and apply, and they do help, but they don't stay in place. I've had to cut off the edges leaving less surface for dancing. Eventually, I removed them altogether. I haven't decided if I'm going to apply a second time. It might be easier to buy dance socks.
