Anna and Sarah Dried Prunes Plums in Resealable Bag 3 Lbs

I received my first order of prunes from Anna and Sarah today and was genuinely impressed. Unlike other brands, these prunes are not smashed together. Each piece is intact, firm, and fresh. The quality is excellent, and they are genuinely delicious. I will definitely be ordering again.

I originally bought two small packages (1 lb) to try the quality of dried plums.* I then decided that I enjoyed them enough to start buying large packages. (3 lb.) These plums are juicy, sweet, and of excellent quality. I very, very rarely find grit from seed pits (which some reviewers call “sand.” I didn’t know this was a term for seed pit pieces, so I was concerned when I read other reviews about how much “sand” was in the fruit.) My answer is that any quality control issues there might have been are resolved. This is the best brand of dried plums that I’ve found. *Sometimes there’s a quality issue and if you don’t sample more than one package of a product, you won’t realize it. Every package of dried plums from Anna and Sarah have been delicious.

These prunes are sooo delicious...large, soft, fresh and flavorful...that I can't even knock off a star for the amount of pits I've found. There is NEVER a guarantee that there won't be a stray pit found in pitted prunes. I've eaten about half the bag and so far have found five pits which is a lot for around a pound and a half, so extra care should be taken with these, but since any regular prune consumer should know to be observant for pits, I won't even take away one star. They are so good and at a decent price that I'd recommend these any day with the warning to be careful of pits. I'm reordering today because as a daily prune eater I don't want to run out of these. UPDATE: I've had three bags of these prunes now, so I'm here with a pits report. The first bag had 11 full pits and 2 partials, which as stated previously, I do think is a bit excessive. BUT, bag 2 had one and a half pits and bag 3 had one lone pit. I think 1-2 pits in a 3 pound bag is excellent, so I'm assuming bag one was a bit of a fluke. They are still the soft, fresh and flavorful prunes that I'm so happy with. The price has gone up a little, but still less than quality grocery store prunes. I continue to be even more happy with this quality purchase.

Have bought this product twice I think. The first time around the product smelt, tasted & felt fresh. In general the prunes are good. But all the times that I bought this product, there were few prunes which still had bits of seeds inside. In fact full seed would have been better as it would have reduced the probability of hurting the gums or teeth. The company may like improve the process of removing the seeds properly and enhance quality control around that.

My husband's favorite. They are dry, but still a little juicy. Not inexpensive, but nothing is these days. We're repeat buyers.

Dried prunes often get a bum rap, but these are a delicious and healthy snack when you are in the mood for a small treat.

Theese are really fresh and quality. Very best you can get. They are as fresh as could be. Not sure what the secret is. It a good value. I get three pound bags . I eat with you very and other berries. And as they say they are great for getting you moving
