Hayward Goldline AQL-WW-P-4 AquaPlus Wired Remote Display/Keyboard Replacement

Pulled a CAT 6 cable from my pool controller to my patio. Works great.

Works with the PL-Plus and i just used a cat5e cable to make the connection. Very easy installation and works perfectly.

Best purchase ever. Love control from kitchen. Especially light. Could have used more help picking the right phone cable. Must have 4 wires. Very hard to strip and thread tiny wires. But works great.

Ordered this with great anticipation to have a remote diskplay for my prologic Hayward system.Connected it up (twice , with different wires). It mimics the main display fine, but does NOT respond to any control buttons, just beeps. Display also has funny characters displayed. See photo. Perhaps I got a defective one, or maybe there is something else I need to do. Appreciate any advice. Trying to figure out warranty and how to return it.

Works great. Set up at my outdoor kitchen in my lanai, about 30 feet from my pool & spa. Saves going outside and making adjustments at the pool controls, especially at night. Would have liked to have the portable touchscreen but at $300 less I can walk 30 feet to make changes to the system. Another reason I avoided the portable unit, is that the batteries in it can’t be replaced. $400 with non-replaceable batteries, I don’t think so!

Perfect for what we needed. We went from an older AquaLogic board to a Prologic board/control box so that we could connect the AquaConnect to it to control our spa from our mobile phone if we were "out" and decided we wanted to go in when we got home. This replaced our older goldline ps4 wired control unit and connected right up with the 4 copper low voltage wires that were already ran from the older system. This control is slightly smaller in dimension and required me to fill two of the older mounting holes with caulking and repaint that part. Oh, one more thing. The photo in this ad, isn't the correct one. I already knew that when I ordered it so it didn't bother me and that's why it was an afterthought. If you google the AQL-WW-P-4, you'll see what it looks like. It's white with blue buttons and an led display.

I installed two of these for our new pool. I put one in a lounge area by the pool and the other inside the house over looking the pool. The installation was easy and half the cost of Hayward's hand held remote, which I figured would be misplaced half the time anyway. Attach that baby to the wall and you always know where to find it! Now, If the kids leave the lights or waterfall on, I can just turn them off from inside the house.

Allowed me to have a secondary control panel for my pool inside my house. Connected using standard 6-conductor telephone wire (only 4 conductors needed to wire it to the main control panel).
