In expensive Basic phone
My use: occasional for checking voice mails on a land line. My primary phone is a cell.Plus: lightweight, easily fits in hand., takes a small amt. of space on the desk . see pic 4. Operation is like any other cordless phone- setup is simple but takes one through many menu options. Screen + keypad lights up- when call comes in. pic 1 Has a wall mount option, ( does not come with screws or a backclip). pic 2Minus: the screen is hard to read, small fonts- even when screen is lighted, see pic 3 . sound is ok- No flashing LED if voicemail- only indication on the screen . Charge lasts for 1 hr.Tips: phone can be silenced ( on the handset= bring vol. control to off) . Best used for ONLY receiving calls , not the best for storing numbers, retrieving online voicemails , or for senior ppl, who needs larger/brighter screen. Hope this helped!

Good phone
I bought a discounted phone that had some visual defects that didn't matter to me. When I got the phone it was clear someone else had it before. It looks and works fine with one exception the battery that came with it was pulled apart and the wires ripped off, luckily I was replacing a same make phone that uses the same battery, crisis averted. In the future Amazon you might want to inspect returned items before reselling them.

Great Product for the Money
I ordered this phone for the bedroom. All of my other phones are corded so I thought this would be handy if I needed a cordless one. I has a date and time function. The instructions to set these seemed confusing or maybe it was just me. I decided that that wasn't necessary for the phone to function so I just left it. A couple of days later I picked the receiver up and the time and date were set. Very smart phone I would say and I also would recommend it for the price alone.

The consumer has to put the phone together.
I thought I was buying a telephone but when it arrived it was in different parts with interactions how to put it together - to do that an engineering degree would be helpful, What do you expect when the telephone only cost 30 dollars.
