Exceptional product. Well made. Professional performance.
I am right in the middle of the last remodel my wife and I will ever do on our Cape Cod style home. You know the one, the kids have finally left and now you feel good about getting light colored furniture. Anyway, the remodel involves 1400 square feet of engineered hardwood on our first floor. I looked far and wide for the right tool. Read lots of reviews and just when I was ready to pull the trigger on a differnt brand, I found the YouTube video on this product. Loved it at first view. This is the updated version of the Powernail gun that shoots 20 guage staples. I am now half way into the project and I love it even more. I have yet to experience a single jam or even misfire. The depth setting for the foot is easy and consistent. It does not slip. The safety located right next to the trigger makes for easy and quick firing. It is light weight and operates best between 90 and 100 lbs of pressure. The nails are easy to load. You will like the feature that allows you to see just how much of the clip remains. The staples are only available through Powernail online but they are affordable and ship fast. I must give kudos to Tyler with Powernail. My second order of staples got delayed, halting me for a few days but he more than made up for the snafu. You will love the products and the customer service. If you are a DIYer or a professional this is the gun for you.

Simple and reliable
I bought this specifically for ⅜" engineered flooring. I was debating between this and a stapler but the reviews for the stapler talked about a lot of jams, so I shows away. This Powernail cleat nailer had no jams for my small project (under 300 ft²). It worked simply and reliably. I hesitated buying this for such a small, one-time project, but now I don't know how I could've done the job without it.

I really like the Flex foot design over the traditional feet that ...
I bought this to install 900 sqft of 3/8" T&G Engineered Hickory. So far I have put in around 2500 of the 1-1/4" cleats with zero misfires. Very consistent in driving the cleats, each one has been set perfectly. I really like the Flex foot design over the traditional feet that sit on the subfloor. With the Flex foot you can easily just slide the entire gun down the top of the flooring firing as you go. The tapping block is wonderful too, much more efficient than using a scrap piece of the flooring and a hammer as I have used on other floors. I'm not a pro, just a DIY'er, but I can tell a solid well built tool when I use one. All of my other 'air tools' come from HF and while they do work they are not nearly as consistent as this nailer is.

Great nailer!
This is a great nailer! It works great for my 3/8" engineered hickory that I've installed in my home. Ultimately, I did have to return this though because the foot wasn't working properly out of the box. I did end up buying the exact same one again though because I do love the nailer itself and I have a lot more flooring to get done! I think it was a fluke to get one with a bad foot on it - it wouldn't lock in tight to maintain the proper angle. You can feel the quality of the actual nail gun itself though...and it has a nice tapping block and carrying case.

First time using these nails vs staples long term I think the staples may hold better but that is my opinion
The gun worked exactly as it should only problem I had was with the safety being with the trigger when we grabbed the gun we hit both triggers causing a few nails to shoot when not intended but that was our fault. First time using these nails vs staples long term I think the staples may hold better but that is my opinion.

Five Stars
Great nail gun for engineered flooring. Cannot beat Powernail. Installed over 2500sqft of flooring with no jambs. Very easy to set shoe to the thickness of the flooring. Included tapping block is beefy and a great addition included with the nailer. The carrying case fits the nailer precisely along with the tapping block. Would be nice to have more room in the case for 20 gauge cleats. You will not be disappointed.

Super Easy
Super easy to slide the flex foot into position so the cleat exactly entered the nail pocket on my engineered floor, preventing any damage to the flooring face. Loved how close to the wall I was able to work installing flooring in an under stair closet. Removing the flex foot let me use the nailer as a top (face nailer) for last row. No additional nail gun or hand nailing needed.

Great Flooring Gun
Installing 1/2" engineered flooring. This gun was one of a few recommended by the manufacturer. After firing half a package, about 750 nails, not one misfire. One issue is that the adjustable shoe that gives the correct positioning, comes loose frequently. Not a big issue, but it could be improved.
