I was a bit nervous, since the price was so affordable, I wondered how good can this be, but I have to say I was so surprised on the quality of the equipment ! Simple to use, sturdy design, carrying bag and light filters. The bulbs alone are worth the price. You get 2 tall stands with larger bulbs and1 shorter stand with a smaller bulb. Easy on/off switch. It comes very well packaged, and again, I can not stress the quality of the product, I love it! I was not sure the best way to set it up, no information included for the right way to use it, I watched a couple YouTube videos on 3 light staging, and that was all the help I needed, My photographs and videos were like night and day ! . I store the stands and bulbs in the carrying case when not in use. Very light and portable. Perfect for a beginner. I would even buy if you are a novice or professional,

Exceeded my expectations. It's not the top pro-grade, but for taking their own product or family photos without breaking the bank, it works great. I did invest in some brighter LED bulbs in varying temperatures. The included fluorescent bulbs were a little dim, but the kit would still be as good a deal without bulbs. The bags are nice, and the seller did a great job with the inserts, support information,etc.

I ordered the lighting kit to use for photographing collectibles used in illustrating books. I have never used that kind of lighting before, relying on household lighting, which is difficult to use in taking clear, detailed photos. So far I have not put the lighting to serious use but have assembled it all to insure that everything works, which it does. The light it puts out is certainly adequate for what I will use it for. It is easy to assemble and break down and everything fits in the bag. Not having used this type of lighting I cannot compare it to similar products. However, in my judgement, this will serve my purpose, which is occasional use. It is not heavy duty equipment and hauling it around, setting it up and taking it down regularly, is bound to result in wear and tear which would not affect more expensive kits. Still, I think for the casual user it will be fine.

I store the stands and bulbs in the carrying case when not in use. Very light and portable. Perfect for a beginner. Unsure about novice and professionals, but buy with confidence!

This is my first light set and it works perfectly. Lightweight but sturdy, comes with extra umbrellas, and the lights are phenomenal. 100% recommend for amateur videographers.

Haven't used it yet but I did inspect all the contents. Stands look and feel sturdy. Everything is working so I am very well pleased with this purchase so far.Update: used it for my baby shower and the lighting was perfect... really easy to set up. Thank you

New to lighting and photography, I wanted something affordable to start out with. I have been very pleased with this set so far. I love that it comes with the storage bag too. Probably not something a pro photographer would want but I like this kit for the level of usage I intend to get out of it for now. I wish the little plastic umbrella covers were durable as I personally like putting the umbrellas back in them to make things compact and prevent damage/snags etc. I think they were just for packaging/shipping and most people probably throw those away, but I would like it if they were intended to be kept and stored back in them each time as I am trying to do without damaging them.

Totally better than expected. I thought this would be really flimsy, but it is VERY STURDY, includes three tripods, and the carrying bags are very nice. I have used them once so far for a video conference and they do make a nice difference. I will be playing with some other bulbs for effect, but they include three big bulbs in the set (cool white light). AWESOME set for the price.
