The laminator arrived with broken plastic pieces inside a sealed plastic bag with the laminator. Upon inspection, I noticed the manufacture date and laminator was made almost 3 years ago.The item description stated "Like New" WRONG! Sent back!

This is the third laminating machine I have used. Right out of the box this machine did not work with the laminating sheets I had purchased. However, these laminating sheets worked well with the inexpensive Scotch brand laminator I purchased. I contacted the company about the problem, but since the warranty had expired they couldn't send me a new one. They had me send this one back, at my cost, for repair. I was very happy to get it back, but it still would not work with my cheaper laminating sheets. This machine works well as long as you don't use off-brand laminating sheets and do not try to laminate card stock. You can't laminate cardstock on any of these home laminating machines without causing the springs to loosen up. If you wish a heavier product, you can use heavier laminating sheets.

Excellent product. Wider scanning window is a nice feature.
