Unstable connections
The base block was twisted and the blocks did not stay attached properly. I reluctantly returned it.

Very very happy with this set.
I loved building this! It looks great, too. Just make sure you really follow the instructions. As I got to the end I had to carefully remove all 4 towers to fix a mistake I made in the *very* beginning. Lol. I also like that it isn't huge or tiny. It's a perfect size for someone that doesn't have an entire room to dedicate to their brick builds. The color quality is amazing. The blue is by far my favorite color of these mini bricks yet. All of the pieces were there and even quite a bit of extras! Definitely not recommended for kids unless they REALLY enjoy taking their time to build it (and let's face it, how many kids actually have that kind of patience. Lol). If I had built it from start to finish without stopping, the build time for me would be about...6 hours? That's without having to correct that mistake I made. I think if you enjoy these mini bricks, you'll love this set ๐. Great price too. I've seen other places sell this same set for $15+ more than the price here.

Fun and reasonably challenging
I'm about 2/3 of the way through with the construction. This is my first of this particular brand, and it hasn't disappointed me. The instructions are reasonably clear, and the pieces are small but manageable. A magnifying class helps with the instructions--and tweezers help with the construction! The micro-block kits are more challenging than Lego kits, because of the smaller pieces. (Not a criticism of Leggo architectural kits; the finished Lego products look great and the instructions are always crystal clear, but I find Lego brand kits to be almost too easy.) You'll spend a lot of your time with this kit and other micro block kits just sorting pieces, as they are packaged almost randomly, but that's part of the fun--and I've definitely enjoyed putting this kit together.
